I expected a normal dinner . but my experience was beyond great ! The service , the atmosphere ... all very nice . But the seasoning of the meat caught the attention of everyone at the table . Never, anywhere in the world , I could eat a steak so well prepared . Just amazing, that's all!!

...and people watch at Grand Central Station. We sat at the bar, had two drinks each and watched the comings and goings on a Sunday afternoon. We have previously eaten here as well however today we just wanted to be able to sit, chat, enjoy our drinks and enjoy the atmosphere. We enjoy being at Grand Central because of the... More

Was hosted by a service provider for a business lunch to talk about new business. The location is inside Grand Central overlooking the main waiting hall. The ability to speak in normal volume and hold a conversation is important for a business lunch is achievable. The food was good but a bit pricey. I had the steak tacos and my... More

Apart from the friendly and really nice lady at the entrance, the rest of the staff and the food service were terrible. Once seated, the waiter was told that we wanted certain steaks from their menu, to be brought to the table with the salad. Told him twice. Was acknowledged. of course, salad brought before the steak, so we waited,... More

Really MJ???? $50 for a steak and $10 for a baked potato and you won't give out the Wi-Fi password????? It is a lovely atmosphere...a bit too warm on a hot day...but lovely none the less...but really. I see you have several Wi-Fi signals coming up.

Went to this restaurant for a pre-concert meal and for the view. I wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent. The service was perfect. We made reservations and were seated next to the mezzanine overlooking the floor of the station. Enjoyed the people-watching. Steak house prices. Definitely worth it.

My husband enjoyed this restaurant so much we returned there on our last evening. It's on the balcony in Grand Central station, famous for it's steaks as the name would suggest but the fish was really goods as well.

There are plenty of options to eat at Grand Central Station. But only a few offer a view of Grand Central Station's main concourse. This is one of them. Of course, steak is amazing. Top notch service. Expect to pay for all of this good stuff. You can seat right up the stairs of the west balcony or a little... More

The food here is excellent. Steaks are actually delivered rare when you ask! The side dishes are excellent. Service is ok. Most important, the location is probably the most spectacular in New York with a great view of Grand Central.

Another favorite which sounds like the choice is a tourist trap as the location is in Grand Central and its not a trap - very good, great food with a lot of local diners/lunch goers. Their Fast track menu offers a great value too and the views/settings is pretty spectacular! Service is wonderful and staff is superfriendly! Highly recommend it!!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
