For our last night of the holidays we decided to treat ourselves with a great steak in a fab venue inside Grand Central Terminal looking down on the main concourse. Although expensive, this was easily our best meal of the week and a great wine list to boot.

Over looking the Grand Concourse of Grand Central. Perfect place to have drinks at the well stocked bar but might be a bit noisy for dinner.

Party of 4 men. Wow, What a mistake going here. Yes the setting is unparalleled in NYC, but the food was terrible. I mean really terrible. Add to that cold fries, a pushy upselling waiter and a 400 bill (with tip) for 4 people, and you have some very unhappy (angry) patrons. Do not, I repeat do not eat here.... More

Visited here with my two grown kids. The setting is unusual situated within the confines of Grand Central Station but the setting is great. Go up the grand staircase to the bar then through to the restaurant. Start professional but welcoming. This is not a cheap restaurant but it is well worth the visit as the quality is excellent. The... More

Sat on the balcony of grand central looking at the main hall. It would be better if the tables were set side on so that all diners could enjoy the view. The food is good and portions very large but it is expensive. Service is ok. A special occasion meal

We were seated very promptly without a reservation, I thought the menu choices were slightly limited. The food however was very good. We waited about 40mins for food, which I thought was a long time. Service slow and not very friendly

US hospitality is world famous but it was sadly lacking when we visited Michael Jordan's in Grand Central Terminal yesterday. We were treated like an inconvenience by the bar man who barely managed to utter a syllable as he took our order - he clearly doesn't enjoy his job! A beer and a gin and tonic were $25.04 (this fact... More

This is one of my favorite bars in NYC. Yes it is convenient for me but the location is amazing and the setting memorable. Enjoy.

Fabulous having lunch overlooking the main concourse in Grand Central! Excellent attentive service, food (as you would expect) not cheap but there was a fixed price $32 lunch. I had a lobster roll which was perfect, plenty of lobster. Very good coffee too. Loved it and would recommend!

As much as we liked the surroundings, the food doesn't live up to the hype... However, staff were attentive and it is for the surroundings n staff I am giving the 3* definitely would not go again .....

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
