Having read mixed reviews we were a little apprehensive! The service, food and position were all great. Would recommend this for a lunch with a view overlooking Central Station.

Like the legend, this eponymous steakhouse is beyond its prime. Attentive staff serve under-adorned steaks which seem one down from the top cuts. But it's a fun place to hang under the fabulous starry ceiling of one the most alluring structures in NYC

No, it's pretty casual. It's in the station so I suppose they expect people to wear travelling clothes. Though I'd say no to sportswear , personally.

We got a table overlooking the concourse and really enjoyed the experience. That's what made it for us actually- the space and the unique view are what drew us to the place rather than the cuisine
