I ask for the concierge to suggest a place that have Deep Fried Oreo, and they recommended this place. It's really casual and not pretentious but the food is just basic and not particularly good. Their Deep fried Oreo is definitely not as good as the one at CATCH, and not even their 'signature' Mac and cheese are particularly good.

The food here is really quite good. I ordered the skirt steak and it was delicious. We all tried it and agreed it was well marinated and quite tasty. The salads we ordered were quite large and the mac and cheese is quite good. Trout was even tasty. Desserts are to die for and quite unique. Service was excellent...not just... More

This is a great location and open 24 hours for late night clabbers in the area. The mac and cheese is supposed to be to die for but I didn't think it was as good as what I make at home.. It was honestly quite bland. However, the chicken pot pie was amazing and I would absolutely recommend it, it... More

We stumbled on this place while staying in Manhattan. Its name didn't describe the great cuisine within. It is all in black & white, with young waiters, up-scale atmosphere, but reasonable. We had the calamari which was tender and flavorful with hot peppers, the pear salad was full of fruit for a change, with all sorts of extras thrown in.... More

I always eat at least one meal at Cafeteria when I am in NYC. They do a good job with ramped up comfort food. I am not normally a big fan of meatloaf, but theirs is great. I have always had good experiences with the service there and the prices are a decent value. This may seem odd, but if... More

Thankful for this delightful restaurant in Chelsea which is open late enough for me and my 3 daughters who are hungry travellers arriving from the west coast - it offers a diverse menu to suit our palates and appetites - we ate there twice, once for dinner and had the macaroni and cheese and once for dessert where the banana... With so many high priced, four-dollar sign meals, it's just nice to have a meal that isn't a $50 or more, but is still delicious. I had the turkey burger, and it was delicious. We loved the atmosphere, and we loved that we didn't have to be all dressed up after a day of sightseeing. I'm so glad a friend... More

We landed here by mistake on our way to the pub next door and decided to have a snack. We really liked the place, it was loud but not to much, the music was really good and the food... There aren't too many food items in the menu but everything we had was cooked to perfection. Chicken and waffles were... More

I am not sure I have ever experienced such bad service. We were seated for at least 15 minutes before we asked someone, who appeared to be a manager , if we had a server. He assured us that he could take care of us and we gave him our order. At some point our server did come by and... More

Absolutely the best restaurant ever in the city. Everytime I'm in Nyc I have to come here to have dinner. Food is delicious, waiters are friendly and professional and the atmosphere is unique. Try their mac&cheese, chicken with waffle and white grape martini, I love it! Well done guys!
