You will get amazingly delicious kobe beef here. The kobe beef burger is to die for. I have very been disappointed with anything I've eaten here.

This was recommended to us by a local as a good steak restaurant. The atmosphere is great, and it looks smart but homely inside. The steaks were amazing and cooked to perfection - usual large NYC portion size. Also ordered string beans which were great to. Disappointed with the baked potato as it was so cold when it got to... We had a bill over $600 for a very disappointing meal (we ordered our drinks separately at the bar). Other than the bartender (awesome), not up to what you would expect from a wait staff at a steakhouse. Regarding the food, four out of six steaks were completely off, one filet ordered as "rare" was on it's way to a... More

Typical higher end steakhouse prices. I enjoyed an 18oz Sirloin that was prepared perfectly. Creamed spinach is very good as the spinach is not as chopped up as other steak houses. The Apple Strudel is a little different with fruits and nuts baked in. Not my favorite strudel. Would go back on occasion. Was there on a Saturday night with... More

Homestead is a classic steak restaurant. Usually very busy with groups. Also tonight very loud people. Food was good! Steak was of a very good quality. We had the bone in filet. Enormous Chocolate cake as desert. very nice! The vegetables could be less garlicky too strong in my opinion.

We were staying in TriBeCa and thought we would give old homestead a try. We love steakhouses and our favorite is Keens. Very hard to compete with. I was disappointed, my husband enjoyed it a little more. Very crowded and noisy. You only need one backed potato, it was huge. Sautéed spinach had way to much garlic. The porterhouse was... More

I made an online reservation here to bring my husband for his birthday dinner. We are about 15 minutes late for our 8pm, Saturday evening reservation, but we had to wait only about 5 minutes for our table which wasn't bad since the restaurant was packed. The front, bar area was wall to wall people. The back dining area was... More

This was our first visit to the Old Homestead Steakhouse. Five of us had dinner. We LOVED the....arugula salad, garlic bread tower (a must), steaks and cheesecake. We weren't crazy about the Caesar salad, bacon (fatty), hamburger was dry (ordered med. well) or the creme burlee. Overall we enjoyed our meals, service was great as well as the cocktails.

My NYC based brother picked this spot and it was hopping even when I arrived at 5:30 p.m. I had a glass of wine at the bar and the service was friendly and efficient. The dinner that followed was great as well. Oysters Rockefeller, Scallops and Sashimi Tuna to Start followed by great steaks along with a very nice bottle... More

We chose the filet mignon which was to die for, the sauce complemented the meat perfectly and the potato was perfect, there was more than enough food. I would recommend it to anyone, the fact it was packed at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon is testament to how good it is! Only marked down slightly as they forgot our veg... More
