Great atmosphere. Food is fantastic. My wife is not a fan of Uni at all but loved the Uni angel hair pasta. I want to make a special note of the service which was also fantastic. While our server was taking our order she accidentally kicked the table and spilled her drink on him. Not only was he very gracious... More

Their ingredients are incredibly fresh and support local organic farms. The dishes are flavorful, inventive, exotic, and one of a kind. Great for celebrating major life accomplishments, date nights or business meetings. Nice private upstairs room.

We selects this place after looking at the reviews. The room is elegant, the service is professional and attentive. The sommeliers suggestions were perfect and the food was delicious. Every table was filled yet I was still able to carry on a conversation with my wife. I had the seafood risotto entree special and foie gras appetizer. Both were amazing.... More

OMG we received a tasting gift from family so we were not sure what exactly we were in for...SURPRISE it was fantastic. We were greeted with a glass of champagne some specialty appetizers and a very attentive caring server who was forever filling glasses and removing plates, replacing silverware...he was great even with all the explanations we needed in order... Just finished having an extraordinary dinner. Lovely dining room, well appointed and quiet. Attentive service. Phenomenal gourmet meal. Charming sommelier. Yes, it is pricey but very worth the cost. For a special occasion for adults this is the place to be.

Head to Tocqueville and the staff there will make you feel very good. You will have their full attention. The food is very good and good attention to details. I personally didn't need help with the wine, but if you do ... no worries there is someone there whose only job is to guide you with the best wine for... More

The soups and salads here are delicious. The cod melted in my mouth. I attended a business meeting here twice and both times the service was friendly and accurate. The food is also very fresh, flavorful and delicious.

We had a fabulous meal with several outstanding offerings that included foie gras. My husband had the appetizer of seared foie gras and duck sausage. Stupendous! And I adored my entrée of foie gras with diver scallops. The setting was intimate, the service was great, and the price was less than we expected. We would be happy to return to... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
