We stopped in not knowing what to expect after a long walk from the Highline and would say it was one of our best meals while in NYC. The service was impeccable and the food of a high quality. Prices were actually some of the cheapest we experienced and I would have to say they were excellent value given the... More

The food was very good, and it is a beautiful restaurant in little Italy. We loved the antipasto da nico, which we had as an appetizer, but my daughter did not love the calamari she ordered as a main. The service was good, as we were there late in the afternoon before things got busy. Not being Italian we likely... More

The Restaurant is nice and was pretty clean not enough light for my opinion, the food was good but pasta was overcooked as usual in USA. we paid to much,3 prosecco 30$ whattttt... in Time Square we paid less.. The waiter complain about the tip, make me feel very unconfortable, this was very bad, remember that the tip is suggested... More

We have gone to Da Nico's on and off since '92. Value is a combination of food, service, atmosphere and price. That being said...Da Nico's is a GREAT value.

We had lunch at Da Nico as it was recommended in a New York city guide. Little Italy is bustling and has a great atmosphere. We sat outside at Da Nico, the pizza and pasta were delicious we also had the broccoli and fried zucchini. The waiters were so a tentative and advised on good wine and food. I can... More

Enjoy traditional Northern and Southern Italian cuisine at Da Nico. The beautiful indoor dining room is a favorite among movie stars, New York Yankees and former Mayor Giuliani. The casual, family-friendly atmosphere welcomes you to dine on "The Best Coal Brick Oven Pizza," or one of the delicious items on the menu. Specialties include lobster fra diavolo, baby lamb chops and veal chops. Call for the day's specials. During the summer, Da Nico features a large outdoor garden which doubles its normal seating capacity. Da Nico is also available for your private parties. There are many keys to having a great dining experience. With that in mind, consider Da Nico the master locksmith of Little Italy!

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
