In the league of Per Se, Jean Georges, 11 Madison Park but warmer and more personal, with a friendly service. Food and wine as one may expect, no real surprises, you cannot go wrong here. For a refined evening of gourmet dining in a comfortable, warm atmosphere.

Like a well polished show! We enjoyed a bottle from their amazing wine list with numerous old vintages and the help of Level 3! Somm Ralph! I enjoyed that each of their four courses had about 6-7 different options so my husband and I could try different dishes. Flavors included plum sauce, Sumac, squash purée and Vietnamese chocolate to name... More

Having dined at 3 Michelin starred restaurants in Paris, I came to Daniel with very, very and I mean very high expectations. We ordered the full tasting menu with wine pairings. From start to finish, the service was amazing, the ambiance of restaurant is top notch. The wine pairings were perfect, complimenting every course just right, and the Sommelier had... More

This must be only Michelin Star restaurant we re-visited in a span of 3 months. The reservation experience was seamless. Located in the uber-chic Upper East Side, Daniel is the epitome of elegance and grace. You walk into a space that's classy and cheery at the same time. They have a gorgeous central seating area and then they have some... More

Well worth trying to get a table when you visit NYC. The food is excellent, the presentation exceptional, and the service is flawless. Dinner and wine will set you back about $500 plus tip but the experience makes it acceptable.

For starters, the restaurant just looks just great. There room is beautiful, the tables are spaced far enough apart to allow privacy and other diners are well dressed. We went with the four course tasting menu with wine pairings. All the food was exquisite and artistically presented. The selected paired nicely with our courses and added to the dining experience.... Ate in the lounge, it was just stunning. I don't know how much better a restaurant could possibly be. Pricey, but worth it.

Experience The Lounge at DANIEL, another side of Chef Daniel Boulud’s renowned Manhattan restaurant. Equally as distinctive as the main dining room, The Lounge offers the same service and cuisine as our main dining room. Complete prix-fixe and tasting menus are available, along with à la carte options not available in our dining room. Savor an imitable fine dining experience or drop in for an appetizer, cocktail, or a late night dessert with Champagne.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
