Very friendly and accommodating service. Good for lunch or a pre-theater dinner. Nice atmosphere. Food is not as authentic Cuban as I would have liked. Gets fairly crowded and a little pricey.

Very familiar with Cuban food...Service was good, food was not at all up to par. Ropa viejas meal was more the size of a sample and not typical. It lack any flavor. Ox tails were a poor choice also, I've had more meat on a...More

We made a last minute reservation for four on a Friday evening. Having little experience with Cuban food, we literally put ourselves in the hands of our waiter and had a fabulous meal and a great experience. We shared an assortment of appetizers called the...More

We had been looking forward to this dinner. Despite advising making the reservation and our waiter, service was quite slow. We waited 10 minutes for our table, our first attention was 15 minutes after being seated and a drink order taken 5 minutes later. (It...More

In the range of Cuban, Caribbean, Latin American food, certain dishes just shouldn't fail. Pork, however done (pulled, shredded, filet, knuckles), just can't be overcooked. Plantain has got to have the right consistency or it becomes inedible, or at least quickly unappetizing. Victor's really failed...More

Good food but the tables are so close together that you may as well be sitting at your nieghbours table with them. It was difficult to carry on a private conversation. The food, however, was excellent and for this reason we would recommend this place.

This is a cuban restaurant. The food is of average quality with generous portions. I was there with my wife and daughter for a reunion and wanted a fun ethnic vibe. I had 2 appetizers: the ceviche and the mixed seafood cocktail. For dinner I...More

I have never had the paella. The Ropa Vieja and sangria are fantastic! Victor's is amazing, though and you will love it. A little pricey....perhaps, but you are in NYC & I say it's worth every penny!

We've been to Victor's Cafe many times in the past twenty years. I've never seen quesadillas or anything similar on their menu. You do know this is a Cuban restaurant, right?
