If you are tired of Italian or French or the usual American fare, Victor's is a nice change. The service was competent. The food is interesting, mildly spiced and fresh. We tried the sampler appetizer for two which was more than enough for 3. I...More

True Cuban pork dish here is unusually good and includes vegetables. Timing is always in time for theater.

I was going to a play right next door to the theater, so I didn't have a lot of time to eat. That was not a problem. The friendly server brought my drink immediately, and the sandwich soon followed. Everything was delicious and quite reasonably...More

This is a lively, noisy restaurant and very fun to visit. We loved the sangria and the four people in our party enjoyed two pitchers ! The staff was very attentive to my needs as a gluten free diner and advised me about which selections...More

Intimate Cuban resturant near Times Square. Suitable for families as well as couples. Food is delicious and wait staff is very attentive.

Food was good but not great, and certainly not plentiful. We had the vaunted ropa vieja and salmon with pineapple salsa. The best part of the meal was the salad with hearts of palm. The $29 prix-fixe lunch is not a great bargain. For me...More

We were 7 people after attending the theatre. We had not been there for a numbers of years, food was as good as we remembered. Do ask for the specials, and our server recommended the fish which we all enjoyed. Portions are large enough to...More

Seated on time and with a smile. Home style Cuban but with high end service and dinner ware. Go ahead and try the sangria.

I misread the menu on arriving at the table. I ordered ropa vieja and thought it came with potatoes. Sadly, it was rice and I can't eat the stuff. However, the meat was very good. The decor is very classy and the place has a...More

This was our second visit to Victor’s Cafe. We had really bad service. We arrived a little early and had to wait but that was ok. After being seated our waited asked if we needed to get to a play, we said NO. After our...More

I have never had the paella. The Ropa Vieja and sangria are fantastic! Victor's is amazing, though and you will love it. A little pricey....perhaps, but you are in NYC & I say it's worth every penny!

We've been to Victor's Cafe many times in the past twenty years. I've never seen quesadillas or anything similar on their menu. You do know this is a Cuban restaurant, right?

Victor’s has the unique distinction of being both luxurious and casual, serene and high energy, family oriented and romantic, exotic yet familiar. The cuisine at Victor’s includes the most delicious, authentic dishes combined with the restaurant’s exclusive creations that represent the evolution of Cuban cuisine. Signature dishes include Victor’s famous black bean soup, shredded beef (“Ropa Vieja”), and roast suckling pig (“Lechon”).
