The food was great, specially the grilled tuna. Wines are quite expensive and deserved more professional recommendations. A bit noisy restaurant.

This is my go to place for amazing comfort food and some of the most courteous service. The cocktails and wine selections are great. The food selections are reliable and ample in proportion. Have. It had a mediocre dish here yet. The tables are closely spaced so one has to do some table shifting to exit in this smaller sized... More

Staff allowed us to move our reservation so that we could watch a bit more of the world series. Much appreciated. We had a bottle of wine, the steak tartar, and the bone marrow dish. Wine good, steak tartar good, bone marrow slightly disgusting. This was my first time having bone marrow, and it's possible that it's just not my... More

This was our second visit to dine at this restaurant. We occasionally have drinks there before dining at other locations in the area. We were there on a Sunday night and the place was packed. Generally we see a lot of families but this crowd seemed a bit more of couples and groups. I had the duck confit appetizer and... More

Everything on the menu is good, standouts are the fish soup and fried chicken. Open until 4 am every night. Not that any restaurant in Manhattan closes early, but if you are downtown and want a good meal at 1 am, cant go wrong.

The best fried chicken I have ever tasted! I came on a blog recommendation that I am very grateful for. Excellent pirogues and goat cheese salad. Chocolate budino was excellent also. Very intimate brasserie setting, with red velvet drapes and wood interior.

Steak dinners, half bottles of Burgundy, open late at night. This place has saved me so many times when looking for a late night place to gather after a long day. The food is outstanding and the staff are incredible.

I had an excellent Fish special, very yummy and healthy; one of my coworkers had the Chicken, which look very good as well. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was fun.

First - James and Victor make this place what it is. Next - the wine. They have a small, but incredible list of wine. From half bottles to burgundy....this place has it going on. Finally - the food. Best oysters in NYC; hands down. The foie gras terrine is incredible. But....the best thing ever....The Spicy Fish Soup. Just order it.... More

Located on Sullivan Street at the convergence of the West Village and SoHo, Blue Ribbon's bustling dining room and friendly bar have been serving neighborhood regulars and culinary industry insiders since 1992. The Bromberg Brothers' eclectic vision first sprang to life here and has blossomed into an iconic destination known for its late-night dining scene where the country's top chefs congregate and eat after closing their own kitchens. Subdued lighting, red velvet banquettes and mustard hued walls, pristine oysters and countless culinary tales are all well-known trademarks of this, the flagship and original Blue Ribbon.
