I came here on the trail of Carrie Bradshaw (from Sex and the City) and found a delicious and fragrant world full of cupcakes, cakes, cheesecakes and cookies (all takeaway only). You can even buy signature aprons. This is one of the most typical places in NYC or even, for an european like me, in the US! Be aware: any... More

Best red velvet cupcakes....then was a repeat offender and went for the banana pudding....staff were friendly and prices reasonable for the quality. A little park nearby to enjoy them in- go now and not just because they're in SATC

Ok so won't pretend I didn't want to go because it's in sex and the city... I dragged my boyfriend to sample these amazing cupcakes having went years ago. We went at 11pm and there was still a decent selection so we ordered 1 vanilla cupcake, 1 peanut butter cupcake, a brownie and also a peanut butter traybake. These were... More

Stopped off here to get a cake while out and about. Very chaotic shop and staff clearly flustered and stressed! Cakes delicious though. Over priced but that is down to the name. Would recommend for a treat!

Great place in Grand Central Station. My wife had banana and peanut butter pudding. She was allowed to try before buying. Good portion and decent prices.

the banana pudding and lemon bar is the best thing they do. The brownies, magic bar and cupcakes are just OK.

Stumbled upon this cute place. I'm a sucker for red velvet cake and thought the slice I bought looked pretty amazing. Unfortunately, it was not cream cheese icing. Very disappointed. The cake was average, at best.

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
