While visiting New York with a friend, the sudden need for something sweet overcame me and I always wanted to stop into the Magnolia Bakery. People rave about the Banana pudding here so I picked some up with a sweet danish type dessert. It was...More

Although I almost always get the magic bar, their other items are very good too. I tasted a piece of the cheesecake and loved it.

This is THE place tomgomfor cupcakes, so far the best I’ve ever had, if it’s good enough for the Beatles plus Carrie and Miranda well I’m on board. We got a selection, queue was long but moved quickly enough, it’s a must do can’t wait...More

Seriously. The frosting is nothing but shortening with absolutely zero no flavor and the cake itself tastes worse than out of a box. And the price for these aweful things is criminal! Seriously. We waiting in a LONG line and bought 4 and each one...More

This bakery is quaint, local, and fresh -everything is made daily and the desserts are exquisite. Super delicious!

We had to check if this was a hype. It was not. We ended up buying backed goods back to Norway. We served it on my son's birthday. The response was brilliant so we will return.

Went this past Friday with my wife and had a great time - Cake is the best in the area and all of NYC. The price is expensive but you get what you pay for - great experience and dessert

Being the typical tourist, we had to pay homage to this bakery's original location. Lovely ambience and the hardest task was to decide which slice of heaven to buy from the endless selection on display. We ended of with the banana pudding and salted caramel...More

I heard about this place from a tour guide. While at Radio City Music Hall I stopped by a location nearby. It was busy but not overwhelmingly busy. What I noticed first was the display looked average like cupcakes you would bake at home. Second...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you

Checking their menu I see no mention of any item being gluten-free or milk-free. I would be careful. Although there may be some items that are free of one or the other, the absence of the ingredient list would make me... More

Can't hurt to order it in advance. We did that for my dad's birthday and it was definitely worth it, since we wanted a specific flavor.
