I have eaten here twice as my wife's cousin is a chef there. My review may be a bit biased but is honest nonetheless. The food and its presentation are impeccable and is there to excite your taste buds. This time we did one the Omakaze tasting menu options. The first time we ate at Nobu Hudson we picked our... The best modern japanese cuisine in New York! Don't forget to book in advance, otherwise you'll have to be either very patient or very lucky!

Recently celebrated a friends anniversary at Nobu and it didn't disappoint. I've been to many of the other Nobu's around the world (Nobu London, at the Metropolitan Hotel is my fav.) and the food and service are always top notch. What to say about this one ... The room is warm and smaller than Nobu 57 but the food is... More

I went on my own when on a business trip and sat at the counter. I just asked them to do me a menu for $150 and waited to see what happened. It was amazing, really clever food (e.g. sizzling beef on marble placed in salt) and great service.

Had reservations for 7:45 on a Friday night. Place is packed of course, but we were seated right away. Drinks are perfect. Service was great - the waiter recommended all his favorite dishes. Had a great time. The dishes were all very good. I have to laugh, however, at the wagyu taco's. For Wagya beef, I figured they'd be on... More

My first time having Sushi! Great location , wonderful ambience, fantastic food! It was my daughters birthday and we mentioned this to Andy, the waiter who was very attentive to the guests! We have a sushi experience and a mix of a cook menu, Andy advised us what to have and we had a blast!! The desert was nice, smooth... More

We've been wanting to dine at the original Nobu, and finally made it happen on a recent visit to NYC. We received a warm welcome from the host staff, and our server Hiromi was excellent. Hiromi provided the right attention and information throughout our dining experience, and her service levels made our experience special. Thank you! We opted for the... More

I hope my date wasn't offended that i could not keep my eyes off the decor. Every inch was magnificent The Arctic Char, The Duck, The sashimi, and AHHHH, the tiramisu was transcendent. My date would not let me look at the menu so I have no idea of the prices but I suspect it was a fortune. The White... More

A decent meal but for $500 for two without much alcohol it was a disappointment compared to similar restaurants where we have dined worldwide. To top it off, the waiter just plopped the check on the table at the end without asking if we wanted coffee or anything else. Fortunately for Nobu, there is a constant flow of tourists in... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
