Here exploring the upper West side today, and stopped here thanks to trip advisor's recommendation. All 3 of us ordered from the lunch special menu, which included soup. We had the meatloaf, pulled pork, and endive salad specials, all good and reasonable priced. Excellent friendly and fast service.

I am a fan of diners and there are plenty to choose from in Manhattan. While wandering in the Upper West Side, my wife and I stopped for a quick bite at this small diner at Broadway and 108th Street--just a block away from Absolute Bagels (where you can get some of the best bagels in NYC!). Service was quick.... More

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Week day special salmon burger and sweet potatoes fries and a soup. My wife had Royal salad, said it was the best she ever had. Fair price for NYC.

Visited Manchester diner this morning on the way out exploring NY. Eggs and home fries was exactly what we needed to set ourselves up for the day, plus toast and strong coffee! Very fast service and great choice, well worth the visit

Went to this place because the hotel didn't serve food. This was recommended by a local. Was busy and queueing out the door. It's not very big but seemed popular with the locals and that speaks volumes. Portion sizes were huge and there was no way I could finish it! Simple food, done sensibly, no frills and at a good... The prices are a bit over the top, but other then that food was good, service was good, but then again the place was empty both times I went.
