Good happy hour specials. Good bar food but with healthy alternatives - lots of vegetables and vegetarian options. Have had the wings and chicken sandwich - both decent and filling. Brussel sprouts are yummy too!

Lovely little restaurant. Particularly liked the farmers sides of vegetables. They have many choices, (asparagus, beets, mushrooms, green beans, kale) all deliciously prepared. You can get a plate of 4 sides for $16.

Great food, affordable beer, and friendly folks. Our favorite neighborhood spot for a pint and some food. Elevated bar food, yet affordable. They also have some traditional Irish fare and friendly bartenders. Great weekday specials as well. Highly recommended in the Heights.

It's no where near any points of tourist attraction in a residential neighborhood. Best part is that it's not too far off the GWBridge if you need a quick escape path. Their menu is diverse and so is their beer selection. The waitstaff is very...More

Visiting with friends in the neighborhood. Strolled over to Le Cheile for lunch. I was a holiday Monday. The restaurant was busy but not overly so, we were taken to a table for four right away. Our friends had been there before and we excited...More

Le Cheile takes me back to the comfortable unique bistros that dotted the West Village when I moved to New York in the late 80's. Don't be fooled by the odd name, or the pub feel when you enter. The bar is busy, but there...More
