We visited this restaurant prior to our theatre performance. Wonderful food, the beet salad was excellent as was the duck and risotto entrees. Tables a little close together but it didn't spoil our visit. The tiramisu was wonderful. They bought us a complimentary liquor as I had mentioned it was our 25th anniversary when we booked!

Hidden away in a small walk down door way is a hidden treasure. The bruchette was only average. But, the pollo romano was oustanding. My wife's pinot grigio was excellent. The cannoli was excellent. The service was attentive but not hovering. The seating is limited, so you should make reservations.

I first visited this restaurant 10 years ago. Was thrilled to find that it was as fabulous as I remembered. The atmosphere is so New York. Cozy, quiet, and comfortable. Every person working there is friendly and helpful. The menu is fantastic. We had one of the nightly specials, lobster fettuccine. Oh my! is all I can say!!! Also had... More

I have become a regular at this fine establishment due to food and familiar treatment by the staff. Food is consistently great in taste and portion size. No wonder the long line to be seated before theater hours. I guess the secret is out.

Great place to enjoy authentic Italian food in a classic NYC environment. Small spot with nice wine, good food, and great service. Definite must in the area

Took a business party and we all thought it very average. Food, service, ambience. All lacklustre. Really didn't recognise a link between our experience and some of their reviews.

I've been coming here over 10 years. Very unpretentious but solid. I can always come here and know I'll have an enjoyable meal and not be over run with the tourist crowd. I will return.

After much research we decided to have our first wedding Anniversary meal hear as my wife loves Italian food and we was told this was a hidden gem with great reviews. We arrived at 9pm and they closed at 10pm we felt really rushed and we're asked 3 times if we were ready to order all in the space of... More

A small place with special touches. Good menu but specials of the day are usually unique and excellent. Good wine list. Great service but tables are a little close. Neighborhood gem.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
