We ate at Fuji Sushi the night after a pretty bad experience at Patsy's Italian just next door. Fuji Sushi has a pretty simple feel to it but the food is exceptional and great value. We had sushi and sashimi mixed platter and it was absolutely wonderful. They obviously know what they are doing and use great super fresh fish.... More

Very good and fresh sushi for a reasonable price. We really enjoyed the food and the ice cream! I recommend this restaurant for anybody looking for a sushi fix in Manhattan.

I visited Fuji Sushi last week. I had the spicy girl roll with pork gyoza. It was quite nice. Very nice ambiance and very helpful staff.

The food was mediocre at best. I had the BBQ Octopus which is an impressive presentation, but tasted terrible and I don't know if it was the BBQ sauce or fishy octopus. Either way it was not good. The sushi was ordinary, nothing exceptional. Service okay. I would not return to this restaurant.

I really wanted to like Fusi Sushi more that I did; it's nicely-priced food convenient to Carnegie Hall, the theatre district, and not a bad hike to Lincoln Center. If half stars were an option, I'd rate it 3.5 stars, adding the extra half point for surprisingly drinkable glass wines and attentive (if somewhat abrupt) staff. The decor made me... More

Really great to find a teriffic Japanese restaurant near Broadway. Their menu is attractive and extensive and the restaurant itself is just lovely. Our server, Ivy, was warm, attentive, and added nicely to the overall dining experience. Everything we drank and ate from hot sake to hot green tea was excellent. Best Edamame I have eaten and the sauce that... More

I have a child who is a performer and we are in new York City every month. And at least once a week every time we are here, we eat at Fuji Sushi. We stumbled into this place after an audition across the street at Ripley Grier studios. My child was starving and I was impressed by the statement on... More

The service was very good, staff was friendly. The tempura was extremely well done and the sushi was amazingly fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was nice, not formal.

We went to Fuji sushi on a friday evening looking for a new good Japanese resturaunt. We went there and the wait staff sat us down right away. We proceeded to order the pork gyoza along with tempura, sushi, and chicken teriyaki. The food came quite fast and the gyoza was average. The rolls were horrible because the fish was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
