Not far from our motel this little gem offered 10 dollar lunches including a beer or cocktail.....what the heck who can knock back a deal... meal was delicious... wait chick was friendly and helpful....answered any questions we had
Another low key dive bar type watering hole serving decent drinks to mostly locals. Not overly crowded and a decent NYC no-flash style bar. Good bartender... good drinks... a few decent crafts... and a pool table,
You know the type. If that’s your thing, it’s...a good place to stop and hang.More
There's a special place in my heart for dive bars, and TriBeCa Tavern is surely not exempt. I truly love this place. Yes it might take long to get a drink sometimes, yes the food is basic bar food, no there's nothing truly special about...it, but all of those aforementioned attributes somehow make for a really great experience. Cheap drinks and food + Juke Box + Pool Table = Fun times!More
dropped into this bar while saying at the roxy hotel across the road. Girl behind the bar so unwelcoming and I really didn't want to stay. Other patrons were coming in and no one behind th bar as she is outside, so bad and rude....Never went in againMore
We found this bar on accident after trying to see the Ghostbusters firestation (still under conservation). We wanted a late lunch and fortunately this place was still serving food, and even better was still running their USD10 lunch special. there were a fair number of...items on the lunch special which came with a drink included in the price. This bar is typical of a UK style pub/bar (i.e. no table service) which we were more than used to and had a wide range of beers on offer from what we could see from the wider menu. The food arrived quickly after ordering and was hot and tasty. We didn't have time to stay for another drink but we would certainly recommend you try this place, in particular if you are trying to stick to a budget.More
Definitely a locals place. Staff was cordial but didn't seem to care for tourists. Decent music and drinks. Did not sample food. If you are passing by grab a drink but not sure I would go out of my way to be here.
this became our local during our stay as out hotel was over the road; perfect for a drink or two before heading to a restaurant and equally as good for ending the evening in.. great choice of craft beers and the staff were very friendly
