When you really want to impress someone, you take them here! great views!

Came here after going to the statue of liberty. For some reason it was a bit hard to find, but we made it. I had previously made reservations and asked to be seated at one of the last tables to have the best view available of the statue of liberty. When i got there, the table was set up very... read more

This was a last minute choice and it worked that they could accommodate us on a Saturday night. Bread was good, especially the focaccia. Entrees were on par with what you would expect to find at an Italian restaurant (selection, price, and size). My husband ordered the chicken parm, a dish he's ordered at many restaurants. But for the first... More

The view is wonderful across from the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island even in overcast weather. The service was very good, but the food was just average. The atmosphere was nice with a lot of natural light.

By New York City standards the food is good not great.... However, the restaurant has the best views in the city. The are amazing. Worth eating there to eat outside by the river.

That's why we went there: we were going to the theater at the Jewish Museum and this place is right next door. Otherwise, we expected a 2-star trattoria. Did we have a pleasant surprise! Food and presentation very good; service exemplary notwithstanding that they were very busy that night; and prices reasonable for NYC This place gives good value for... More

I wasn't so excited to walk into Gigino's on a December afternoon. Everything changed when the food came out. I had some grilled calamari and some pasta fagioli soup which were outstanding. All others enjoyed their dishes. Will wait for spring/summer to go back, I think, since the views are amazing if sitting in the terrace.

Sat outside last Sunday and enjoyed the harbor view with Lady Liberty in the background - the view was spectacular. The homemade gnocchi with meatballs was great as well as the mussels with white wine and herbs that we started with. We will definitely stop back next time we are in New York.

Food is quite average, nothing special but not bad either. Portions aren't very big. View is wonderful, and because of that this restaurant is really worth visiting.

Views are very nice, especially when the sky is blue! Food was good, pasta was greatly made and the staff was very nice. Not too expensive, not too cheap. Recommendable.

This lovely place has terrific food, great service, good wines and a wonderful of the Hudson River. In the summer, there are outdoor tables that are perfect for a glass of wine and a quick bite, but even in Dec., Gigino's is appealing, cozy and the perfect place to sit down, relax and enjoy first-rate Italian food. The fried calamari... More
