We enjoyed an excellent lunch in this restaurant. We were welcomed in and shown to a table, wine was offered and ordered. You van enjoy both fish and meat, we both had fish which was well cooked and beautifully served, the portions are of a good size. This place can really buzz when full and is certainly worth a visit... More

I don't often come across places that I wish I could keep coming back for more. This is not the restaurant with top prices, refined presentation and fancy food. This is a restaurant that feels like you are walking into someone's home. Warm welcome and food that is full of flavour with the satisfying aroma of the freshly cooked meals... More

Located on W. 16th Street in Chelsea, the restaurant is on the bottom floor of a townhouse. It is nicely appointed with a bar in the front and a roomy dining room just beyond. Besides the regular menu, tapas is available as well. The dining room exudes comfortable, Spanish decor. Our host was David, the owners son. He could not... More

Was visiting my son in NYC, Chelsea, and trying to find a place for dinner. The outside sign above the menu said it was their 42 anniversary. So we gave it a try. Was a bit dubious upon entry. Very think stucco on the walls and it looked like it had not had much updating since opening. But we were... More

This restaurant we visited for the brunch has been in the Chelsea neighborhood of NYC for decades. At one time it was serving meals to 3 AM. Its interior of Old World Spanish has not change much over time. I had my favorite mussels, which was good. My husband ordered the roast pork, but wasn't very impressed - the meat... More

I had been a regular client of the Café Riazor for years. The Pollo Riazor is one of the great dishes ever. I have two homes in Spain and know of what I speak. I moved to Paris several years ago and one of the ONLY things I miss about New York City is the great meals and fabulous ambiente... More

We walked some extra blocks to get here and it was worth it. The sangria is excellent! They offer many tapas and full meals. We caught them the day before they were closing for a couple of weeks and I worried about the quality of the food, but it was fine. We ordered caldo gallego (excellent), and about six tapas... More

Great tradition, excellent menu, nice atmosphere. This is the type of place you can be friends of the staff, the owner, the chief. All nice people and great food. A special date place.
