We visited its sister restaurant the night before and we were still thinking of how wonderful it was when we stumbled across this, on the way to photograph the Led Zeppelin album cover (Physical Graffiti) on St. Marks Place. We were so glad we did,...More

Breakfast is great, whether it's 2 eggs, roast potatoes & multigrain toast or one of the more exotic choices. And the mint tea is so refreshing. Vegan and vegetarian friendly. Just plain friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed. We've had lunch there in the past as...More

Good food! Came around 1700 and got a table at once. When we left there was an hour wait! Busy, crowded, small, but still a very nice place. Service was efficient and waiters nice.

Brunch just on weekends, but we had a great breakfast helped by the staff. Both sweet and salty options are perfect. There is also a good mint tea, little bit pricy tho (7$).

This is a nice Sunday treat! Unpretentious with a very good NY vibe. Good food with a Mediterranean taste and inexpensive. Try the chicken tagine with lemon and green olives and an assortment of Moroccan starters. Kitchen is open non stop.

We had a mixed platter and falafels for appetizers. The falafels were very, very good. Not greasy. The hummus was super fresh. Baba ganoush was good too. The harissa and pita bread both were good and fresh, though I have had better at other places....More

East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses

old-time neighborhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
