Long hike back from touristy stuff to our hotel and on the way was this wonderful little neighborhood cupcakery that called to me with S'mores cupcakes and cool AC. That's all it took. I would suspect this is one of the best bakeries in all of NYC. At least in my opinion it is and even a day later my... More

Really enjoyed our delicious treats. Walking distance from Midtown. Had the brownie with Walnuts. Very large, enough to share. Daughter got the Pudding cup which was also enough to share. Definitely worth the trip there.

Nice place to drop in on a cold March night for a post-dinner snickerdoodle. Better desserts than you can get at most of the restaurants near Times Square!

We bought 3 cupcakes to take back to our hotel room for an evening treat. We trudged through the cold wind and slush both ways and got back to our hotel to find that we had been sold 3 stale cupcakes. We went back the next day and a sullen clerk offered us replacement cupcakes. The replacement cupcakes were fresher... More

We wanted a sweet treat and came across this shop while we walked back to our hotel. . the cupcakes were moist with good texture and great flavor. Best of all being 3 blocks away from times square they have good pricing of $3.50 a cupcake. Same as sweets by holly at home. . would visit again.

Stopped in to order a Hummingbird cake and the young lady behind the counter was pleasant and helpful, as always. However, the young man was short, a polar opposite from her. He just seemed to be in an unhappy mood. Never have had an experience similar before. Tried a chunky monkey cupcake, to see if I would like it enough... More

I'm a long time customer and ordered my daughters birthday cake from Buttercup. I ordered it online a week before and the store was CLOSED when I went to pick it up at my designated time. The website states that they are open @ 11am on Sunday - no one was there at 11:30am. What is perhaps the most disappointing... More

We stopped in after dinner on Friday night. The two guys working were extremely friendly and personable. The cupcakes and cakes were delicious, and my wife says it was the best rice krispy treat she's ever had. My only negative comment was when I went back on Sunday morning before our flight to stock up for the trip. The hours... More

We went here two weeks ago. Cupcakes are very good. There is anothe similarly named shop in the 30's that I like better but this was good. And again, still open as of two weeks ago.

I needed a custom birthday cake and this great find was around the corner. The choices for kinds of cake and frosting are awesome! I chose a mocha cake with mocha frosting - amazing!!! Several kinds of cupcakes for purchase which all looked wonderful. Staff is pleasant and helpful.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
