The improvement in Peascatore is marked and substantial. The menu is not all that extensive, but there is a good range of offerings. I have tried a broad range of appitizers, pastas and main courses and have not been disappointed. The wine list is broad, but not deep, but I have always found the right wine to go along with... We had brunch at Pescatore on Saturday July 16th. It was outstanding. I had the avocado caprese toast and my husband had the eggs Benedict. It was a great value! Coffee, sangria and entree all for $16. Great atmosphere also. I sent my adult children there later that day. They loved it also. Said the French toast was amazing.

Went there on a Sunday and ordered the special Parm Sunday, dishes at fixed price with salad and optional wine selection. Service was very strange - we got refills of water but wait staff was cool and almost unfriendly. An order for a second beer took another reminder, although there were less than 10 people in the restaurant, and almost... More

Went there through a recommendation from someone sitting outside their apartment building. This is a lovely neighborhood restaurant. My granddaughter wanted pizza and while it was not on the menu we were assured she would like their pizza inspired flatbread. My granddaughter knows what she likes and she really enjoyed our meals. We found the service to be very friendly... More

Long wait to be seated and served. Not friendly and charged us for items not on our bill. Will not return.

Our bartender at the Doubletree Metro suggested this place. Right around the corner, but hard to find. Worth looking for! Bottle of Montelpulciano, ordered the Pappardel Bolognese and the Special Salmon with asparagus.Gelato and coffee for dessert. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious! Our waitress was Jelena and she was so nice and gave us tips on what to see... More

I used to eat in this restaurant many years ago when I lived in New York. I remember that the food was excellent. However I went with my friend couple of days ago for lunch during a short visit to New York. That was a disaster. We ordered their fixed-price lunch. The salad was tiny, the black homemade pasta with... More

Good food- limited choices on the menu. Used to have a variety of selections. Now if you are lucky only 5-6 things on the menu which is disappointing.

Went here with family and friends. Food was good, basic Italian food. Gluten free options for me were somewhat limited but there were enough choices. My salmon was tasty though slightly overcooked. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was good.

We loved this place, the staff are all very welcoming, we kept coming back for the food, the drinks, the desserts and the staff. Clarissa was excellent, we even picked this place to have a group of friends for dinner. Boja the bartender is an excellent entertainer, we had fun sitting at the bar, the cocktails are great. If its too... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
