Good Dinner

We visitid this place with colleagues for a drink after work. No real ambience, maybe because it was quite empty at that moment. So poor atmosphere. Drinks and cocktails were nice though and we ordered some snacks too. These were simply served

Bar Vetro also has a carryout which I will have to use now that Bruno's has shut. But it shuts at 6 pm to not compete with the restaurant right next door.

I've been here before and the last time the noise level was so high we couldn't talk while eating. This visit it was very calm. The owner is so nice, the service is wonderful and the food is very good. The prices are reasonable for this area of Manhattan. I will go again, but will make sure the bar isn't... More

Very comfortable seating with great service and food. I ordered the eggplant rollatini and chopped salad and it was wonderful - too much food! Not crowded or too loud - yes a little dark, but we all used our cellphones to read the menu :) They were out of the less expensive wine so they gave us the next one... More

We stumbled upon this little place. Not very crowded but the food was excellent. The restaurant manager in addition to the waiter were very attentive. Friendly and very professional staff.

went there for the hubbys bday because they have branzino which can be hard to find. when we went to order, they said they had just sold the last one. the tried hard to find a good replacement and gave us a free bottle of prosecco along with a yummy slice of bday cake. Prices are reasonable especially the wine... More

I;ve been eating here for a few years now, and I think it's time to give credit where credit is due. I eat here at lunch and always have the $17 (formerly $16) special - appetizer, main couse, and wine or soft drink. As has been noted, the place is a little run down, but the service is attentitve, the... More

This place has fantastic pasta, there is an entree where you get your choice of a few small portions of various types of pasta that I love. This place gets busy and does an active bar trade, but dont let that put you off, though do reserve a table if you plan to go after work.

We greeted warmly by the owner and seated right away. There were few other diners on a Saturday night which was curious as the reviews online were quite positive. The decor was, well there really wasn't any. Stark gray walls with nothing else.... Very blah. Our drinks arrived promptly as well as our appetizer which was only ok. The bread... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
