The home of great caviar. Most of the other food is just so-so. The environs are wonderful, with fabulous Art Deco bronzes. But the chairs are uncomfortable; the seat padding seemed worn out. The wine list is somewhat feeble. Has time passed the place by?

If you like caviar, then you must try Petrossian restaurant. The service is excellent, the food is very tasty, and prepared with lots of love and attention.

The food at this establishment is phenomenal. The Crab Cake Benedict in lobster sauce with caviar is one of the best meals I have ever had. For dessert I had the rice pudding with straw ice cream. So unique and marvelous. Very romantic. The servers...More

Petrossian is as good as ever. The caviar and the rest of the dishes we had were perfect. If you wish to indulge in New York, Petrossian is the place.

Classic elegant Petrossian delivers on its promise. Perfect vodka martini and delicious salmon sampler plate. Perfectly presented with an attentive and helpful staff. Will come back for sure for lunch or dinner. A midtown gem.

Gorgeous elegant venue, surprisingly modern inside. Lovely staff attentive and pleasant. Glanced at the dinner menu but were happy with our osteria caviar and bubbles and the view at the bar. Will visit again when next in NYC

More than horrible, ruined our last evening in NYC. It took us three tries to get a bottle of wine when we were ordering off of their menu, out of everything! They pushed the sea bass so my friend and I ordered their "special fish...More

As elegant a venue as you will find. Service is first rate with formally cordial and knowledgeable waiters. The caviar choices are exquisite. There is NO "ordinary" food on the menu for entrees and for me that part of the menu is too much. Too...More
