My wife and I went to the restaurant to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Staff greeted us when we stepped into the restaurant. Few waiters came to our table to congratulate on our wedding anniversary. We felt the respect and warm welcome from the restaurant. The staff knows the ingredient and dishes really well. We have ordered the white truffle dish.... More

We went my husband and I in this restaurant. The place is really nice and well decorated. Food is excellent but the menu is a bit expensive so be prepared to spend some money :). Great evening.

It is almost ridiculous to write a review of per se. This is a temple. A place to go to experience the best food on the planet. Not necessarily the most creative, the trendiest or the most interesting food on the planet. But certainly one out of maybe five places in the world where the culinary brilliance, the technique, produce,... More

We anticipated this meal for a long time. The service was impeccable and attentive. The portions were small but mostly tasty. Nothing however was extraordinary. For this price, much more was expected. Never again.

Note: this is a review for the Salon at Per Se and not the dining room My friend and I went to celebrate his birthday at the Salon. We ordered the foie gras, dessert tasting menu ($75 for 5 or 6 courses... AMAZING VALUE FOR PER SE), and four glasses of wine. The experience as beyond amazing! First off, everyone... More

Atmosphere, service, wine lists, foods, desert, coffee, they are all perfect and no slight complain at all. Been here twice now and will come back again.

We went for the chef's tasting menu and i had a half bottle of 2010 brunello(which was superb by the way). We were ably assisted by Matt who obviously was well versed in the lore and science of chef Kellerman. Service was great and unobtrusive. Wine list is extensive and apparently the tasting menu changes every day but worthy of... More

I was traveling and dining solo and on a whim decided to see if I could walk in and get a table at Per Se. Of course the dining room was a "no way", but the bar area was open and I was seated immediately. The bar is not a conventional bar, but the food, service, and wine were perfect.... More

Our dinner at Per Se is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had (including visits at Noma, Geranium, El Celler de Can Roca, etc.) The dining room is lovely, very bright and with a lovely view over Central Park. Service is second to none, and the food was just amazing throughout the whole dinner. Best dish was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
