Perfect

we decided to try this place. you need to know to reserve a month in advance. This is a single price lunch menu. The table was great with view on central park. The staff was very nice trying to please the guests. This was a little bit too much at time and could have been more relaxed...you could... read more

Food incredible, quantity endless (fine dining and you leave full). Service priceless. Drinks in the salon, impeccable dining room. If anything sits on your plate for more than the appropriate time, the staff immediately removes it and brings a fresh item so everything is served at the "right temperature." The tour of the kitchen at the end capped off a... More

The service and dining experience are truly some of the best. The waitstaff is attentive and knowledgeable. The views are extaordinary .The prices are very high however each dish is heavenly so it is well worth it for the best dining experience.

Having recently read the NYT review, to say that we were a little apprehensive about dining at Per Se and dropping a mortgage payment or 2 on dinner is an understatement. The evening from the beginning to the end was absolutely unbelievable. The food was over the top opulent, every course better then the next. We opted for the foie... More

After reading the recent review in the New York times, I had some hesitation in keeping my reservation. I am sure glad I kept it. Everything was top notch including food, presentation, and service. If I had to be picky, our head waiter was lacking in personality and had to check with the kitchen before being able to answer what... More

Yes it's expensive, there are no two ways about it. Unless you are extremely wealthy picking up the bill in this one will hurt. However you are eating in the top 0.01% of restaurants in the world. Food that is fit for kings and queens. You need to come expecting to pay the price and then just enjoy the quality... More

My wife and I ate here for lunch in early December for a much anticipated first (and last) trip to Per Se. While there were several outstanding courses and the service was very good, we were very disappointed in our experience. The seafood dishes were a complete miss, with the lobster being chewy, tough and bitter and the halibut being... More

A wonderful lunch overlooking Central Park and a cosy fire. A recent negative New York Times review caused some concern but everything was wonderful, food, wine and service. We selected the 5 course lunch option and did not elect to add the supplements for caviar or truffles. This was no hardship as these luxury ingredients were included in 2 courses.... More

We had lunch today at Per Se. We've previously eaten at a number of other Michelin starred restaurants and Per Se rates as at least the equal of those and, in a number of aspects, the best. Even as we approached the front door, swathed in heavy coats and scarves, we were greeted with a warm welcome. That set the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
