It was a great both taste and festive experience to celebrate New Year's Eve at Nougatine at Jean George's. It was a very good service with service minded stuff, nice party and a great crowd as guests :-) When we arrived, the table was very nice laid with cutlery, glasses, plates and New Year's decorations. We hade a six course... More

From the moment we entered until the moment we left I can not fault this place sensational food and with the lunch prix-fixe menu a sensational price as well. Staff were highly trained, professional, courteous and everything you want from a waiter. Dined here for a special occasion and it didn't let us down one bit. Let me say again... More

I can't give it an Excellent rating since I had a mayor problem with my lobster in New Years Eve. We assisted to the first seating in NYE, party of four. We ordered a squash soup which was amazing! Tuna tartare, also amazing and kale and parmesan salad with a little too much of spiciness. My sister couldn't finish it... More

What made this experience stand out was the polished and truly professional service. The menu is not large but has good choices and was delicious, good wine options and the chocolate cake dessert is a must get. The notoriously refined, detailed service of the staff lives on this side of the restaurant too without a doubt.

This is a very well run restaurant with very good food, good wine list and excellent service. The Chicken was actually excellent as well as the Pork chop.

Had a very pleasant brunch with fancy poached eggs with mushrooms and parmesan and perfect cafe au lait My dining companion was in the mood for spicy Bloody Marys and an upscale breakfast sandwich on the order of a Croque Madame. Edgy modern decor and wonderful service. About 10-15% more expensive than trendy nearby Sarabeth's but worth it. (SBs is... More

We went to Nougatine last week twice! That's how good it was. I had been to Jean George's -the premium side of the restaurant - a few months ago, and while it was great, I thought it was a bit too expensive. The pre fix menu for two plus some low priced red wine was about 500 usd. When I... More

Just had lunch at Nougatine, what can I say.... a veal milanese.... what ?!? Never eaten something like that ! Nothing to do with a milanese! Parmesan on it ?!? Are we crazy ? And what can I say about the rigatoni with meatballs .... they litterally put a can of diced tomatoes in it ...awful ! 😱😱😱And what about... More

Headed here for breakfast and weren't disappointed. We really liked our eggs benedict which are really easy to ruin. But these were excellent, eggs were poached perfectly and the hollandaise was spot on. Both our boys had the pancakes and they devoured them. The bacon was truly delicious. Went back two days later for the same exact breakfast it was... More

We had dinner here during December. Interesting that it is in Trump Towers a month after the election. No matter - great meal. Nougatine is the more casual side of Jean Georges. The menu is great, service excellent and ambiance "busy". We liked every course and enjoyed every minute of the evening there. Great flavors in the courses. Dessert sampler... More

Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients.
