Very good grits and in New York no less! Omelette was excellent. Good service on a busy morning. Very nice to let 6 of us meet and stay to talk. If you are in the area, this is a good breakfast spot.

Want a meal with NY attitude? Go here. Food is OK diner food but service...Horrible. I guess becaues it's in a hotel and most of the guests are foreign, they don't expect much. But over priced and bad service dont warrant a TRIP BACK!

I've had several business breakfasts here good diner food, updated to cope with gluten-free and vegetarian tastes. Even though crowded at peak times, waits are rarely long and the waitstaff are hardworking professionals. The tables have room for food and note taking too - none of those teensy bistro tables here. Leave the tip in cash and your waitstaff will... More

Average. Food nice but more pricey than others in the area. Visited post theatre 10pm ish on a Tuesday evening. Server was surly and only managed a smile when we thanked her on our way out. Not the authentic jukebox and booth experience but clean and bright. All in all average, there are cheaper and more welcoming diners in the... More

We came here for dinner after a night at the UCB Theatre in Chelsea. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich and my husband had a burger. We both agree that the food was fine, but that's about it. Fine. Pretty much the food you want to be having at 11pm, but maybe not for a proper sit down dinner.

We ate breakfast here once while staying at the New Yorker. Oatmeal, pancakes, Eggs Benedict, coffee and a milk. It was okay but we walked across the street to McDonald for breakfast the rest of our stay because we didn't want to spend the time to sit down and order or spent twice as much money for breakfast. My only... More

Admittedly we are staying in the New Yorker hotel above, but none the less, this is a great diner. Friendly service, lovely waffles and pancakes and good coffee and OJ. Highly recommended to get the day started.

Attached to the New Yorker Hotel. Easy access 24/7. Hotel guests can have food delivered to room. Decent prices for NYC. Very typical diner fare.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
