Visited this establishment on 12/2/2016. Wait staff joined us during our meal, by sitting in a booth right next to us, eating their meal! How professional! But it gets worse. How can you f'up a TURKEY Club? If there was a "club" they would have zero members! The turkey was rancid tasting and the only edible portion was the bacon... More

Stopped by for a mid-evening meal and ordered the Cuban sandwich and a beer; wife has an upscale salad. Good food and friendly place. Not real noisy even though lots of folks there. We shared a large booth-just the two of us. The Tick-Tock is just off the The New Yorker Hotel lobby and very convenient.

A fantastic diner located in the The New Yorker hotel. Best breakfast and great friendly staff. We went there twice during our stay for breakfast and once for dinner.

Came here before, but this time it really was poor. Slow and uninterested customer service. Dismal and sad burger, made from mushed up unknown parts of a turkey. Water tasted like toilet water. What else to say.... Keep walking, eat somewhere else.

This is a very nice diner and was handy for us, being part of our hotel. Great choice of breakfasts. Very nice for a visit, but a bit more expensive than other places offering similar food.

So stayed in the newyorker hotel and the service in the tick tock diner was highly disappointing in contrast to the hotel. Staff sighed, pulled facial expressions when asking for service to takeaway to hotel room. Got told to move several times along the counter at the bar ordered my drink a few times to different servers as no one... More

We stopped on Thanksgiving Eve and it was not busy. Our waiter was good but they did not serve what we ordered. I ordered the Thanksgiving dinner but it was not that great. The turkey tasted like turkey from a deli and not off the bone. The stuffing was too moist. They could never get my husband's order right.

Went here for a bite after our concert at MSG ended close to 1 a.m. There weren't too many customers but service was still slow and not particularly friendly. The fries were good and hot but my grilled cheese with tomato and bacon was soggy and messy. My friend liked her ruben sandwich, though. I wouldn't choose this place at... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
