This is a real diner! Food is good, portions are silly large, prices are OK (that means high) for mid-town. Service varies from OK to great depending on the time and which wait person you get. Always worth the trouble to go there.

Three for lunch. Food undistinguished. French fries large cut and "mushy". Reuben open faced and not tasty. Even the pickle and Cole slaw were a "C". Penne Bolognese was kind of dry and not attractive (brownish sauce). Not very tasty either. Turkey sandwich was huge...More

My partner Javier and I frequent this cozy little diner quite often. Place was renovated, again, but this time it seems they got it right! Color scheme, floors, seating all match. Gone is the green and red, good riddance. On each our visits, either lunch...More

Even though I am quite fond of the more downbeat an livelier Bread&Honey, just around the Corner on 8th Avenue, I have decided that Circle West is the place for a more quiet breakfast with service. Nice breakfast menu, quick and friendly service and of...More

We had been here before and it is consistent. The value for what you get for breakfast is very good. Good portions, good tasting and considerably priced for New York. The service as also good. I will go back for breakfast.

New York is known for its great bagels but this is not the place to get one. Tha salmon was thick and a bit fishy (I know, I know, It's fish but fresh fish shouldn't be fishy!). The sub par "everything" bagel was also served...More

We were looking for somewhere cheap (ish) and near our hotel for breakfast. This place fitted the bill perfectly. The food was reasonably priced, delivered quickly and tasted good. The staff were friendly and efficient. Nothing fancy but on the money for what we wanted.
