Narrow shop on the west 64th street Simple classic japanese decoration It does feel like in Japan Good selection of classic ramen with extra toppings and extra sizes options I opted for the Tokyo ramen The regular serve is ample The broth is elegant, not too salty The noodles are cooked to perfection The fried chicken is juicy, the meat... Our family (2 kids) have been going to this restaurant for some time and the ramen has been consistently good. Not out of this world, but reliable, comforting, and very reasonably priced ($9-12 as opposed to $15 for newer ramen joints). Side dishes have also been good, such as the gyoza or curry with rice. The staff is always very... More

Stopped by a quick business lunch. Ordered Katsudon (breaded pork with egg over rice). Pork was overcooked (should have ordered chicken instead), plus it was too salty. Other items ordered (Kimchi & Gyoza) were decent tasting. Primary complaint is for a restaurant that seats 70+ guests, it only has one unisex bathroom. Thereby waiting in line to use it takes... This is the go to place for me when I crave for Japanese Ramen. The location is easy to get to. The only problem is it's hard to find seats during lunch hour. Their soup base is a bit Americanized to cater to the general public. Small dishes are nice too. Never tried their sushi.

The food here is just fantastic. The soup base is really good and does not make your lips dry. A must try if you are around this area.

We have tried several of the small plates here and each has been great. The salted saba and kalbi and fried rice and yakitori were very tasty. The gyoza and pork buns were different but so good. The service is prompt and friendly. You don't come here for the decor.

I wouldn't say this is the best Ramen in NYC, but it is really good, and they offer the widest variety that I have seen in the city thus far. The place is also not a hole in the wall, so I got a table right away. I will def. go back to try their other dishes! Staff was polite... More

My partner and I LOVE this restaurant!!! We do our best to visit a couple of times a month. The food is consistent, the service is always spot on. We enjoy many of the appetizers (fried chicken, dumplings, Berkshire sausage, etc.) and have tried a few different Ramens. Our favorites are the Tokyo Ramen and the Veggie Ramen both with... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
