I had the lamb vindaloo which is very good. The garlic nan is a superlative sponge to let you savor the vindaloo sauce. BTW, the Mullagatawny is first class. I'll be back when I hit Manhattan at least once. I only visit NYC for one week a year so I'm always trying new places. This place is repeatable.

First, I would have given a higher rating but had a chicken dish that was not cooked enough. When I pointed the very pink meat out to our waiter, he just shrugged his shoulders. I discovered this after sampling all the food that was gluten free.I thought he would have shown this to the manager as uncooked chicken can be... More

We had a good meal here on the last night of our vacation. All our starter and main dishes were of a good standard and the service was efficient and friendly. There was also plenty of vegetarian choices for my wife, which is a rarity. Slightly expensive, but this is prime location in NY.

The people are friendly and service is great. They are there to explain any questions. They food is well spiced but not hot unless you request a higher level of heat. They have both veg and non veg choices.

Friendly staff, delicious food. Elegant decor, but casual dress (within reason please!) is ok. Convenient walk to LIncoln Center.

I have been going here for years and was not disappointed. The food is as good as ever and this time had some new creative aspects. The service is superb, discreet and very attentive. The atmosphere calm and elegant, with lots of room around the tables. Everyone I have ever brought here goes back again as well. My one recommendation... More

An excellent Indian restaurant in the Upper West Side. Staff is very corteous, attentive, funny, and knowledgeable. Samosas and cilantro sauce are excellent choices for appetizers. The chicken tikka masala is on the top 3 in my life!!! And the goat and lamb dishes are simply amazing! I asked our waiter for a recommendation and was not disappointed-at all! The... More

This was another restaurant that my family ate at prior to a performance at the Lincoln Center. The staff were excellent and very attentive. Our party arrived in two parts and they were very understanding of the predicament. My wife and eldest daughter arrived at the restaurant before us and were waiting for quite some time. They did not feel... More

We have eaten here several times - each time prior to seeing a jazz set at Dizzy's Coca Cola Club on Columbus Circle. The food is uniformly good - try the salmon marinated in yogurt. The prices are very reasonable and the decor and atmosphere are quite nice. Service is also very attentive. We have shown up without reservations each... More
