We found this restaurant on trip advisor and it was close to our hotel so we gave it a try. It was very busy but they servers turned the tables quickly. We were thrilled to get the tiny table in the front window! We ordered chicken satay, chive lover, calamari and spring rolls for appetizers. All were great. My husband... More

We went to Topaz for a late night dinner. Small wait to be seated but well worth it. Appetizers were excellent, we had the shrimp. The highlight of the meal was roast duck on a bed of Thai noodles with a phenomenal sauce that made the dish perfect. Highly recommended

The gentleman who put us on the list, handed us some menus. We thought it was so we could get a head start. No, he wanted to us to actually order before we were even sitting. I didn't like that. Then the appetizers came out after the dinner. Ridiculous. Food was outstanding, the service needs work

We had a wonderful meal in this tiny garden-level restaurant. It's small and loud when crowded, with an energetic atmosphere. Food was served fast, hot and was delicious. Excellent pricing for high quality Thai food. I would return again and again if I lived nearby!

If you are just about the food, this is the place for you; if you are about the food and enjoying the venue - still the place for you; however if you want to have a chance to breathe between courses you might need to ask them to slow things up a bit. We arrived at 8:20pm and were finished... More

Have been to this restaurant numerous times over the years, was staying at the Le Parker Meridien and this restaurant is right next door. Was looking for a quick lunch, was a shame that it was a saturday so they did not have the lunch special menu on the weekends. So ordered the Thai iced tea which was nice and... More

Good selection, delicious flavors and spices, small tight space but worth the wait. Appetizers chicken satay, chive roll, dumplings all very good. Entrees dancing chicken, drunken noodle, massaman curry all very good too, perfectly spicy, plentiful portions. Service friendly and attentive even though they were busy. Our favorite meal in New York, and (bonus!) the least expensive one! Recommend this... More

A few of our friends were there for dinner after a 2-day conference. The food is so good, specially the Swimming Duck. For appetizers we sampled everything in the menu and all was delicious.

FOOD WAS VERY GOOD!!! Restaurant small and intimate but very loud. It was definitely a relief when we stepped outside. Wait staff not on point. Got my dish wrong and I had to ask for the check when we were obviously finished.

Exceptionally good food, flavors all present plus the perfect amount of heat If you want it up a notch (heat), just ask....Service was good, portions appropriate and pricing was right, it was a bit noisy due to the fact that your rubbing elbows with the party sitting next to you. The dining area was a bit small maybe 25x30 but... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
