Delicious tom kha gai soup. Very filling and tasty. The service was decent. The food took a bit long but water was constantly refilled which was a great thing. They aren't too prone on peanut allergies.

This is truly authentic Thai food. We tried 3 new dishes to us and was very happy. if you are in this area of NYC, then try to make it to TOPAZ for lunch or dinner. You will not be disappointed.

I would give zero stars if I could. Our waiter was beyond rude. We wanted an additional order of rice, and he insisted that it was a full entree and not a side - which was fine by us but not him. I had to beg this server to please add this entree. When I mentioned a shellfish allergy he... More

Delicious food. Great portions. Nice atmosphere. had the Bangkok Fried Rice with fried tofu and a friend had the Green Curry with Vegetable. Awesome flavor! The only negative was that they forgot to bring us the pre-order table munchies. Also, you have to go past an order staging area to get to the bathrooms. Notwithstanding, the place is definitely worthy... More

I need to admit I went to this Thai because of the reviews I read here in Tripadvisor and need to admit it was a good choice. The atmosphere is very good, the restaurant is small enough to appear family owned. The Thai Ice Tea really really tasty, and the Yum soup heat taste as well. The lemongrass was a... More

Came here expecting a lot but was seriously disappointed. Service was good but food overpriced and slop. Dumplings to start, soggy and overcooked and noodles for main just very average. So many better places nearby and half the price. Not recommended

Food was very good. It took me longer to decide on the food than to make the dish. Nice menu. Only complaint is acoustics of the restaurant. I sat in the 6 top that looks out onto the street and I swear it was like all 10 tables were right there with me. It was a full restaurant just too... More

The bright yellow awning attracted our attention, and as we were in the mood for Thai but didn't want to trek too far before the theater, we popped in and were very pleasantly surprised. From the fresh noodles to the excellent spring rolls to the peanut curry, the food was fresh, tasty, and manageable portions. We got there early and... More

My daughter and I were looking for a great, quick meal and found it. This is a small restaurant tucked away behind Carnegie Hall. Food was good, atmosphere was nice and the price was nice!

This place is ok for a quick lunch. It wasn't as flavourful or as spicy even though we did mention that at the start. The Phai Thai and curry puff were disappointing. There was hardly any hint of lemon grass, ginger or lime leaf in the Tom Yum. They were clearly not working with fresh herbs. The peanut sauce for... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
