We ate twice here over a four-day visit to New Orleans. Obviously we enjoyed it the first time or we would not have gone back. Atmosphere was great, very talented singer in the bar. We had steaks, crab cakes, fish. All were very enjoyable. Salad & asparagus were excellent. Delicious chocolate for the taking as you depart.

One of my go-to places for when I visit NYC, but this time, a bit disappointed. Same gracious and helpful welcome, but food just a bit off, even though I ordered one of my all-time lunch favorites, lobster cobb. Just didn't have the zing I typically associate with this dish; focaccia OK...had to ask for olive oil/butter, perfect plate with... More

We enjoyed the piano player. He was lively and played a good selection of music for everyone. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I ordered on of the specialty cocktails and it was large and well done. My chopped salad was delivered promptly and was delicious. My entree was a miso crusted cod. I found the miso over powering.... Four of us went to Redeye Grill for lunch this past Saturday. I have been to the Redeye several times before but not in the past 2 years. What a step down in terms of food quality. Others obviously know this as well, since the restaurant was much less full than in my past visits. I ordered the English breakfast,... More

We were fortunate to have coupons to use here as a promotional gift. If we hadn't and I had paid this much for the food, I would have been disappointed. It's quite expensive and not plentiful. I had fish which was delicious but for $32 and nothing with it, I was hungry 2 hours later.

Had a great meal at Redeye. It was very busy, so much so we had to wait in a nearby Starbucks as there was no where to wait for our table to be ready for our reservation inside ( and it was cold outside). Would have been nice to get a drink at the bar but it was full to... More

Found this place as we were exploring New York, our hotel concierge booked us a reservation which is a must, very busy but all the staff are lovely and friendly, it's pricing is standard for New York. Lovely meal would definitely recommend

We had just driven in to the city from Ohio and wanted a meal at 8 at night. Nothing fancy, since we were in travel clothes. Our hotel recommended the Redeye and they were right on point. Welcoming host, friendly and helpful wait staff. Beautiful venue with a diverse crowd. Our waiter was personable and knowledgeable. Skirt steak was tender and... More

Have been here several times for business lunches and dinners, and the food is always good, even on a set menu. Servers are friendly too.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
