Very good variety of seafood and limited, though excellent quality, beef dishes. Presentation was superb and service very good. Live music was excellent and bar super!

We parked nearby for an 8 pm show. We did not have reservations. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Japanese rice bowl and I have to say, the 3 of us agree it was the best of the three entrees. Mushrooms, seaweed, truffle - overall umami flavor - yum. My daughter ordered the veggie burger, which was very well... More

We had eaten at the restaurant previously and loved the food and the atmosphere, the live music and the big bar. We scheduled our wedding rehearsal dinner for 25 guests and secured a private room with a fireplace several months before the event. On the day a blizzard enveloped NYC preventing most of our wedding guests from flying in. Come... More

For our last night in NYC, we saved the best till last. This is the best steak I have ever had (I haven't had many though). I had the New York strip 16oz with mac n cheese. The steak was crispy on the outside and had a really nice soft inside. The mac and cheese was so creamy and cheesy.... More

We went on the Saturday before Valentines Day so was very busy. We had reservations an were seated immediately. Had to wait for a waiter for about 1250-15 minutes. Ordered, got our dinner in 25 minutes. Wait staff was not very attentive. Our food was very good, Brook Trout and ribs.....both were very tasty!!

We had a quick lunch here on our last day in New York. We chose it because our hotel offered a 10% discount. We had burgers and a chicken sandwich, all very tasty. The place is really nicely decorated, I wish I had discovered it earlier during our stay. The bar area looked very nice. Recommended.

While we were a bit reluctant to make a NYE reservation upon learning of the $230 pp fixed menu price, all six in our party were very pleased with everything about the evening, including the delicious food. The 5 course meal started with 3 individual Hor d’Oeuvres for each person, then an appetizer followed by an entree and dessert. (Refer... More

We chose this restaurant as it had good reviews and was close to Carnegie Hall where we were going in the evening. The restaurant was heaving and very packed at 17:45 on a mid week evening. Our table was ready when we arrived so we were seated quickly. However, the fish and tiramisu on the menu were both sold out... More

Redeye Grill is a high-ceiling place with a lot of wood decor. We were there for drinks after a concert. They have a piano bar and that night, Marissa was doing a great job playing and singing old pop tunes ranging from the Beatles to the Eagles. The music stops at 10:30 PM, so we didn't see her for very... More

I was surprised by the variety of diners at this restaurant. We saw people celebrating anniversaries, a business meeting, families with children and people there to enjoy the live entertainment. Even with a reservation, we had to wait at 7:30pm and was seated about 7:40pm. The staff was very friendly and this made for a nice dinner too. The menu... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
