Enjoyed pre-theater dinner here with my wife. FOH was conscious of getting us out by 6:30pm. For appetizers we shared crabcakes (all crab, no filler) and octopus (salad could have used a little more jazz). Entrees of halibut and striped bass hit the mark. "Chocolate Bar" for dessert was excellent. Decent bottle of Sancerre served by an exotic looking beauty.... More

I went with my wife to celebrate a non traditional Thanksgiving dinner. It was a fixed menu, but what a menu. The presentation, the attention and the foof with an amazing taste. Beautiful and spacious.

My husband and I went to dinner here after seeing a show on Broadway. First the good things about it - we thought the restaurant itself is lovely. Very nice setup and our waitress was very attentive. She recommended a red wine that was very good. We were served these delicious little crackers with smoked trout as we were waiting... More

If I will be in NYC again, I will go there. Why, the food is simply delicious. We had salmon and lobster. Everything was tasty, especially the lobster. Oysters as the starters were fresh. I liked the design of the restaurant.

Took a client here for lunch because it was convenient and would never bother to go back again. Although the space is lovely, the attitude of the front of the house staff is appalling. The restaurant was 3/4 empty and it quickly because clear why, the waiter was haughty and rude, the food is outrageously expensive and the quality totally... More

Pricey food but very good. The service was excellent. No children's menu. Our 7 year old niece ordered a pizza off the bar menu. It wasn't kid friendly-no tomato sauce and $18. Filet was cooked to order. Swordfish was excellent. Drinks were overpriced-3 tequilas were $56. Our bill came to $300. Not sure we would go back due to the... More

On our first evening in New York, we chose this restaurant. we ended eating some chewy octopuss in a supposedly salad made of parley. The clumsy waiter got the fishy dressing all spilled on my wife's shirt. The entrée was not better.

Had dinner there. Very good cocktails, good wine list with decent markup.Food was excellent. We all had fish. They had two desserts that made me happy - excellent macarons for my celiac husband and a cookie plate for me and our grown daughter. Very good service and tables were well-spaced.

The menu created by the new chef is excellent. We were a party of 5 and enjoyed tasting each other's entrees. The sea bass was judged the best. Service was professional and friendly. Our early arrivals enjoyed the bar scene and the raw seafood food bar. Not to be missed is the house-made sorbets as they tasted like the freshest... More

"The menu created by the new chef is excellent." We are so thrilled to hear that! It's been wonderful having Chef Bill Telepan onboard. It sounds like you ordered just right by tasting each other's dishes. It's so hard to commit to just one when there are so many new things to try. Thank you so much for sharing your... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
