We went to Oceana with a large discerning business group. This is fine dining at its best in NYC. Great food, slick service, excellent wine list.

My daughter wanted a seafood oriented place to celebrate graduation and I landed at Oceana, where I had not eaten before, but the photos and reviews suggested it would be a good place to celebrate, and it was. Very broad selection of sea food plus other dishes. Our party of three shared the three-for -$30 sampler of crudos and ceviche--very... More
Visited with my wife for an evening meal and thoroughly enjoyed the fishy part of the menu with all courses being extremely well presented. A helpful sommelier recommended a very nice and not pricey wine which went very well with our choices.
After seeing a show at the Birdland Jazz Club, we stopped at the Oceana Restaurant for dinner as it was on the list of restaurants from our hotel West 57th St Hilton Club. We arrived just minutes before they were closing but they accommodated us and sat us at a table by the window. As it was Mother's Day and... More
I went with some Business/Friends for lunch twice. Loved their lunch special menu. The Fish and Grilled Squid is mouth watering, scrumptious. Loved all their desserts too! Very reasonable priced especially being in a central location by Rockefeller Center. Service is excellent and the Manager comes around and ask how are things!
This is a beautiful room and reasonably priced. To our surprise both the service and food were excellent for the pre-theater menu. And portions were good, especially the mahi-mahi. Would go back next time.

The food was good, the service was fine. The only downside to the meal was the chocolate souffle... More

The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was impressive. It's not an everyday dining place; definitely for special occasions... More

Is it inappropriate to bring a well behaved 10 year old to the restaurant? I have been twice while visiting NYC but don't remember seeing any children.
One member of our party is Vegan. Would it be possible to prepare a vegan friendly salad or appetizers for her?
