After reading all the reviews, I expected to be blown away. I wasn't. They offered hot buffet at about $7/lb and pre-made packed food. There was a good amount of variety in both hot and pre-packages food but like everything else made in large quantity, the seasonings could be better. The place is a bit confusing but you follow the... More

Great value with lots of options, you can try all different dishes as they charge by weight. Food was delicious, and it is pretty busy, lots of locals eating there

Lots of choice. Tasty and clean. A bit too busy at peak hours which is a good sign. Nice buffet plus other freshly packed dishes to choose from

Woorijip is more of a Korean food store/deli with dishes you select from warming cases, stand in line to pay, and sit at picnic tables inside to eat. It was confusing at first, but the staff helped us adjust. They also have a nice buffet where you are charged by weight of your food. All the food was tasty and... More

When you want to try a variety of Korean food for a lesser cost this is the place to be. ($7.99/pound is not bad at all) They offer buffet style lunch and dinner. They also offer packed food to go. On late nights with friends, this is also a great place to hangout. (Spicy food + Soju = awesome night!)

This place is like a korean cafeteria. You can go in and get food carry out. They charge you by the lb. $7.99/lb. You can also go and get drinks, soju, sake and other asian drinks. This is great if you're staying close by in the miriad of hotels. We we're staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Midtown/Park Ave and... More

So this was impulse choice. We just got out of ESB and really wanted to eat something good. We've found this amazing place within walking distance and it was simply great. I've stuffed my face with few thousands of delicious calories. All staff was really friendly and helpful. Great place, give it a try.

We arrived in New York late and ordered too many food here. The price is medium. The saba fish is great.

I have noticed that this place was always packed, and I decided to check it myself. The buffet style was good for those who are craving different things. The food wasn't spectacular, but it was still good. I also liked the selection of soups, other prepackaged hot foods, and kimbap.

Great place if you want to try all kinds of Korean dishes, and they are pretty good. You can eat there or take away to eat quietly at home, and there is a good variety of Korean drinks and snacks too.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
