My wife and I found the food to be enjoyable. The staff was pleasant and attentive. It is a great place to be with friends and family to enjoy a good meal and have a lively dinner conversation without concern of disturbing others.

I ate twice here in one day. Wide range of side dishes which were the highlight for me. The Bulgogi was of the juicy kind. Cold noodles very filling. Staff are very polite and give fast service.

The food was good but not excellent. A little blend and for the price they charged, I expected a little bit more autheticity.

Great place to meet friends or business assocaites for lunch in a convenient midtown location. Make reservations as it is crowded at lunch. Be sure to have the stone-pot bibimbop

Wouldn't travel out of my way but conveniently located near many hotels on W34th. Food was quite nice but they only serve bibimbap at lunchtime it would appear. It's not cheap but generous serves with a a selection of kimchi to start. Staff are very efficient if not a little pushy at times.

Enjoyed a nice meal at Han Bat with friends recently. The seafood pancake is crispy and delicious and generous enough for five to share easily. Dumplings were browned nicely and filled with savory vegetables. The small plates were fresh and appetizing the little cucumber pickles were particularly good. I've seen other reviews comment that the food is pricey but our... More

I had a beef noodle broth (don't bother in getting it) and fried rice (just an ok rice) the dishes had a good portion and the appetizers were interesting! The food was just ok, very bland, may be other dishes are better? I think it was quiet pricy for what you get. Will rather go next door to the chinese... More

I'm kind of a creature of habit and I usually get the dumplings and rice here. Amazing! And the pickled items in the kimchee are great too. If you are staying in the area and haven't had Korean food then check this place out for sure. Usually not a wait like the place next door.

I took 5 work buddies here for dinner. I ordered beef bulgogi, as that is a good entry point into Korean food for non-Koreans. They enjoyed the sweet yet savory taste of the meat, as well as the banchan and rice. Some of my friends even liked the spicy pork BBQ platter. Somewhat of a surprise is that a couple... More

The service was friendly, fast and polite. After we had ordered our food they brought a big selection of starters. When we arrived the place was almost empty but filled up while we were there, so it was very busy at lunch time. This was our first time in a Korean restaurant and I do like Japanese and Chinese food,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
