Went here one evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. Went with my meat eating boyfriend and he was very impressed with the food. Lovely atmosphere and great service.

I ate lunch and dinner here on different days, and both times the food and low-key service were very good. The huge variety of options makes choosing difficult.

This restaurant (as others have pointed out) is a vegan Korean, and the food is absolutely delicious. Our server was really attentive and I liked the fact that they added the sauces to the stone bowl table side, so that you could tell them how spicy you liked it (or not, of course). It was very busy, but service wasn't... More

Very satisfying meal at this lovely NYC spot. House saki to start followed by pancake appetizer and stone bowl. Every meal tastes better in a steaming stone bowl! I had the Mediterranean stone bowl with brown rice, avocado, tomato, and tofu "chicken." Service was lovely without being intrusive - had time to sit and talk. Enough interesting things on the... We were in New York and my wife wanted to have a meal with her nephews ( who live in New York ). Since it was the labor day weekend, they were free to join us. They recommended this Korean restaurant since we're all vegetarian. I had been there a few years back and had loved their food. We weren't... More

When visiting NYC, the last thing one should do is go to a chain restaurant. There are so many different cuisines in the city, so many independent restaurants, visitors have to try new things. When we found out there was a Korean vegetarian restaurant 5 blocks from our hotel we had to go! As we entered the restaurant, we had... More

This is the best vegan or vegetarian restaurant I have ever eaten in. My kids and I (a vegan family), were blown away by the food and the total experience. My daughter couldn't stop smiling, and my son said it was the first time in a restaurant he had felt genuinely sad when there was no food left and no... More

The prix fixe lunch is a steal. I had four excellent courses. We started with the Hangawi salad, which includes various vegetables and pears. Then, I had vegetarian dumplings with tomato dipping sauce, which was excellent. This was followed by the vegetable hot pot and finally by delicious chocolate soy "ice cream." I enjoyed it all and the portions were... More

Persistance is always rewarded. I am glad I went back a bit earlier. Nice place, decor is classic and spot on. Ordered off the gluten free vegan menu. I got some sparking water and a lychee soda. App was a tofu and asparagus salad. Fresh and many ingredients with a light dressing . Tofu properly cooked. A nice hint of... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
