Went there this evening, thoroghly enjoyed the meal and so did the rest of the family. The servrr was attentive and very nice. We had the prosciutto pizza, two dishes of ravioli and the stuffed chicken. All were excellent.

Being gluten-free and Italian dining is usually near-impossible. We went to Italy and had to live on caprese salads! Prior to our last visit to NYC, I found Bistango and decided to give it a try. I hoped I hadn't oversold when I drug my family there for dinner (3 of us are GF). Our experience was even better than... More

Dinner here with a fellow Gluten Free friend. Our bar is low especially for Italian, but this spot over exceeded on every step. The GF bread was from Everybody Eats in Brooklyn - never heard of them before, but will stalk to find their products. The first time in a long time a baguette actually tasted like a baguette... We... Frankly, very disappointed. Service was average for midtown and the food what I scorecard a "fair" when compared with three other nearby places we ate at that are similarly rated, such that did not regard the experience as good value for money or something I would recommend, but it is not bad.

The clams were fresh and flavorful with a spicy kick. However a little bit of grit still stuck inside. Bread was nicely warmed but served with hummus. I thought the hummus unnecessary for an Italian restaurant. Pasta was delicious and a reasonably sized portion. We had the sausage pasta which was not too fatty with good quality meat and the... This is a fantastic local spot where everyone else dining was a New Yorker except us. It does the most tasty and well presented Italian food and has such great option for those who are gluten-free. Friendly staff, easy-going place, with a touch of old charm. Perfect for a relatively cheap New York date or dinner with friends. Would definitely... More

We wanted pasta and found this place on TripAdvisor. The food was great! I had chicken and broccoli in a pink sauce that was lovely. Service took ages, though --- we attributed it to the fact that we were eating outside, "out of sight, out of mind" kind of thing. We asked for a dessert menu and after 15 minutes... More

The food is not your ordinary Italian restaurant. We enjoyed the appetizers and entrees in the outside seating which is always a street show especially on a Friday night. The service was caring and not overbearing with time between servings to chat and enjoy the city. Anthony, the owner circulated stopping at each table throughout the evening and making you... More
