We were a party of three. My wife had the grilled chicken breast which she enjoyed. I had the ribeye on a bone which was excellent and my son had the hangar steak which he said was perfect. Do all in all an enjoyable evening with great food, although a little noisy....

we ordered ice tea along with wine steaks etc. When we received the check, we were charged for 6 glasses of ice tea, we only ordered 3 (and 3 refiles) no one told us that there are no free refiles here. Talking to the manage about itr, he made us feel guilty. This is not the first time we came... More

We returned to this restaurant with some trepidation since this time we were traveling with a 12 year old and a 13 year old. As usual the service was great, the food superb. The surprise was a dish called "wedges" I think which went over great with two finicky teens. It is like 3 small hamburgers. So if you want good food... More

The waiter could not have been less interested in us. I saw a dead gnat in my glass of water and I asked for a new one. All he had to say was "ew, gross." Other than that he didn't really say anything at all, just sort of handed us our food in silence and we had to ask for... More

Great location with tasty food and known for great steaks and a French flair....very friendly staff and even though the restaurant was packed - it was very fast service. There were six of us and we all chose different dishes and all the food was delicious. Would certainly recommend trying this restaurant whilst in New York.

My husband and I have been here a few times before and every time we find the same thing: Amazing food and wine, but you better be prepared to wait for it. The servers are kind and polite, but the food takes forever. It isn't unusual to wait 40 minutes for your appetizers. The restaurant is busy, no doubt as... More

For rose and steak frittes, La Marais is hard to beat. I love the noise, fun, atmosphere and simple French fare.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
