We had as an appetizer 4 oysters served with a very delicious dipping sauce. Then, we procesd with the chicken and sea bass teriyake sauce as entrees. I must say the sea bass was cooked perfectly. It was delicious. Also, had a share of sushi rolls... They were good as well. Ocerall, a good experience. Must recommend. Quite atmosphere

Super fresh food. Clean place. Great location. Some noisy customers but it was fine. Value is above Average but it's worth it. Will go back for more. I highly advice it when ever you are in NYC. Best regards and have a great meal. Dr SD 2016.

The decor is what one would expect for a sushi restaurant at the sushi bar but the environment in which the table at which I was seated was nothing to write home about. I began with a Sapporo draft and seaweed salad, which is not the wakame that I expected, but a red sea weed with an interesting taste. I... More

Sushiden Sixth has always been a solid contender, but with the new manager, i found the omakase service and selection to be excellent. Sushiden is a worthwhile stop for an adventurous sushi experience, even though many customers seem to come for the standards and a sake.

You think of New York as synonymous to great dining - you just can't miss! For us, Sushiden was a bit of a "miss". It wasn't bad sushi at all, but overall didn't blow us a way and felt as though we "wasted" a meal in New York. They welcomed us with hot towels - we were grateful for this... More

I dined on Thursday night for a treat. I ordered avalone as an appetizer, which was wonderful. Then ordered special assorted sushi called "Lan 蘭" which came with 9 pieces of sushi and 1 roll. Their qualities were excellent. As a dessert, I tried black sesame sorbet. I've never had this before and already am addicted! I also ordered iced... More

Pretty good sushi and sashimi! Staff were friendly and we got our food pretty quickly. And the price seemed reasonable for the food quality. I enjoyed the sashimi selection, especially the barbecued eel :)

This was a terrific choice for sushi. The service was great and the sushi was fresh and tasty. The New York Crunch roll was delicious.

Just because this is New York City doesn't mean that *every* restaurant is fabulous. And, while fabulous sushi can be had in NYC for non-astronomical prices, it isn't at Sushiden. The sushi was OK, just OK. We sampled broadly and nothing shone. Not terrible but not stellar either.

very friendly staff. Quick service and seriously the best sushi I have ever had. It was a bit pricey but totally worth it. You can see the sushi being made in front of you.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
