My wife and I enjoyed a dinner at le Rivage prior to the theater. Very fine French cuisine and many choices on the prix fixe menu. Excellent attentive service. Very popular so can be noisy. Recommended dining on restaurant row.

The fish was marvelous, as was all the other food except the frog legs which were very disappointing. The service was excellent and the small, homey atmosphere was lovely.

Stopped by on the whim after the show - and were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, quality of food, variety of choices on the late night menu and an attentive service. Not typical for French restaurant big portions - duck L'Orange arrived as a half of a bird and easily fed two people; grilled veal liver was tender and juicy;... More

Above Average Service, Food and Ambience. We ordered the pre-Theatre price fixed dinner consisting of appetizer entrée and dessert. We recommend the Beet Salad, Beef Bourguignon and the Trout Amandine. Both dishes were above average. Tables are roomy, atmosphere well decorated and comfortable. The restaurant is located at 46 th Street close to the theater district. Enjoy! You will not... More

This family owned restaurant, father is front of house and son is Chef, really takes some beating for quality and value for money. My daughter brought me here for a belated birthday meal and it was a real treat. the service and food was excellent and the bottle of prosecco we had was perfect. My baked mussels for starters was... Check out this restaurant's Prix Fix menu. Authentic French run restaurant on Restaurant Row. The 3 course Prix Fix for $29.00 is a great bargain. A nice selection of entrees for each course very well prepared. Service was a bit slow, but we were there on a Tuesday night so the staffing was cut back a bit. So sit back... More

Went to Le Rivage after a matinee show. The fixed price menu had very good selections. The food was delicious and service top notch. We felt like were back in Paris. Make reservations if you can.

Delightful French bistro on Restaurant Row! My friends have a tradition of eating lunch here on their first day in NYC, so this was my introduction to Le Rivage. Charming decor with fresh roses on the table, equally charming and friendly owners who greeted and seated us! The prixe fixe lunch menu provides ample options of traditional French cuisine for... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
