Le Rivage was recommended to me, and did not disappoint! The food was good, and how the staff serves a restaurant brimming with theatre goers and gets them ALL out on time is a mystery to me! Well done!

We recently had theater tickets and was looking for a new place to go. We hadn’t had French in awhile and settled on Le Rivage. We were seated in a small table between a wall and another small table. I could have easily knocked over...More

Nice pre theatre meal, portions were sensible and not huge like you usually get which was a refreshing change. The service felt a little rushed, I understand that it was pre theatre but the melas came too fast for our liking. Good central location, nice...More

The place was filled with theater goers around 6-7:30pm. We came after that crowd but the service was still bad. Our waiter wasn't attentive. When we asked for suggestion between 2 red wines, the waiter suggested another more pricier one. After we didn't take his...More

Had dinner here the other night with my husband before going to a broadway show. Very cozy small restaurant atmosphere, with great service. Waiter was almost too attentive and fast, but definitely good if you’re in a rush to get to a show. Pre-fix menu...More

Despite a packed restaurant, our service was excellent and timely. I find the food here is consistently good. My duck a l’orange was perfectly cooked and my companion said her calves liver was delicious. The suggested Sancerre was a perfect accompaniment.

We've been to Le Rivage many times, always pre-theatre. And we order from the prix fixe menu, which has always been excellent. Is it the fanciest meal in NYC? Not by a long shot. But always very good...always good value... More

Le Rivage offers you a cozy, romantic French country atmosphere where traditional French cuisine is expertly prepared for your pleasure. Fresh flowers embellish each table. Prices are delightfully affordable with incredibly rewarding selections; a true bargain in the heart of the theatre district.
