Had a wonderful meal here during restaurant week. The full price fixe menu was only $1 more than the very limited special menu. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. Potato leek pottage was rich and delicious. Beef bourginon was excellent and the chocolate mousse was...More
We were in town for a conference and celebrating a friend's award. We all enjoyed our food and drinks. The restaurant is small, but it is comfortable and elegant. It seems to be a hotspot for people to go before a theater show. Our waiter...More
We loved it so much last year we made a point to eat there on this year's trip to New York. Good sized portions, reasonably priced. The Quiche Lorraine was fabulous, and the Beef Bourguignon was a hearty, generous portion. Wait staff was always attentive...More

We've been to Le Rivage many times, always pre-theatre. And we order from the prix fixe menu, which has always been excellent. Is it the fanciest meal in NYC? Not by a long shot. But always very good...always good value for money...and always has something both of us want. Wine list is reasonable as well. In short, Le Rivage is a definite winner.
