My wife and I enjoyed a traditional Irish meal at this pub located near our hotel. Service was good and the food was as well.

Stopped in for lunch while shopping. Fish & Chips, hot soup, Reuben sandwich, beer. All good. Nothing elegant here - this is an Irish bar, but a good lunch in a comfortable booth.

This is typical Irish pub with great beer, good pub food with large portion and reasonable price. What really makes difference with other pubs is atmosphere and very friendly staff. One night we have ordered just a beer but there were not available place at bar. They offered us to seat at table reserved just for dinner. In NW I... More

O'Casey's is first and foremost a bar, and a good one at that. When you walk in you see the long bar that takes up most of the open space. There are a few tables on the one wall and then additional seating in the back. As a bar, this is a good place, but what was unexpected was the... More

Friendly bar staff, a nice choice of Whiskeys and home of the New York Spurs fan club. Well worth a visit.

My family took the train in from CT to meet the rest of the gang in NYC and met at O'Casey's. The service could not have been better. Tim our bartender was great and gave us helpful tips as to what to explore next. We ordered many different appetizers and all were delicious. If only they had tee shirts since... More

I ate here for dinner on a recent work trip to Manhattan. I was looking for a local pub for a beer and burger after running in Central Park. This place had decent reviews, so I decided to check it out. I was there on a Weds. night around 8 PM and had no trouble getting a spot at the... More

We walked into O'Casey's at about 9:00 pm on a Thursday and due to the crowd & noise, walked right back out. One of the bar tenders ran after us and asked if there was a problem. We told him it was too loud and he said he had tables up stairs and urged us to return. He guided us... More

An advertisement holding guy on the street pointed us in this resturants direction. We were pretty sceptical, but it really was a good place. No street noise, nice staff and the food was really good. All of the hustle from the Steele outside just goes away.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
