Four of us went for dinner and that's how to enjoy this restaurant's food at its best. The dishes are designed for sharing, so you can order a selection of dishes and all dive in. Unless you're ravenously hungry, around 6 dishes would satisfy a group of 4, but double up on the crab-cakes since the order comes as a... More

We ate lunch here as I wanted fresh fish. It was unbelievably good. The lunch menu had a fixed price option with plenty of options. The grilled sashimi grade grilled octopus was amazing for a starter. The restaurant gets busy so do make a reservation.

This is a lovely restaurant in the west 50s. We had a lovely time, but it is a bit pricey, and when a friend asked for a single red, the server recommended a glass that was $25 alone. Good service, but very loud. Excellent food.

We ate here before seeing a broadway play because they offer a 4 course fixed menu and have you out in time to get to a Broadway show. I had a crab cake, tomato salad, salmon, and walnut cake. It was excellent! Another couple choose the fresh fish which happens to be on ice in the dinning room and the... More

This is probably the best Greek food in town. The food is tasty and healthy. The service is friendly and fast. If you are there for business must ask for the private room on the second floor.

Milos has always been a go-to celebration restaurant for our family, because of the wonderful seafood and fun ambiance. But one's enjoyment can be tempered by the seat location - the side rooms are relatively quiet as is the side dining room by the bar, but the main dining room can be overwhelmingly noisy. We were there recently on a... More

Do not hesitate to chose your fish from the counter. The waiters offer good advice for the best way to get it prepared. The wine list offers many French wines but it is a good opportunity to try a good Greek red or white wine. The Agiorgitiko Nemea reserve 2010 is highly recommendable even for a French palate. Memorable experience.

My colleague and I were attending a meeting at the Midtown Hilton and were delighted to find a beautiful place for lunch nearby. Milos was packed for lunch, with an hour wait, but we were able to head to the bar and eat there. Now, I must admit that I thought $30+ for a Greek Salad was a bit expensive,... More

When I think of a swanky restaurant I always think of heavy, rich food that I will feel guilty for eating later. Not necessary here as the food is based on Mediterranean style of eating. The fish was was fresh as it gets short of pulling it out of the water yourself. Different types are flown in from around the... More

Milos is an experience. Start with the greek salad with giant tomatoes, the giant shrimp, and do not forget the salmon sashimi with sea salt. Then have a Branzino and and the red snapper with grilled vegetables. if you want meat, try the lamb chops. For dessert: chocolate mousse and the greek yogurt with honey. Enjoy!

Description
It was in 1980, when Chef-Owner Mr. Costas Spiliadis opened the first Estiatorio Milos on Park Avenue, Montreal. The reason seemed obvious to him: the need to elevate the sophistication of Greek cuisine abroad far away from its stereotyped forklorization.

'I wanted to change what people thought about Greek cuisine, make sure it's being appreciated and awarded with its rightful place on an international level!'

As a small restaurant, Milos gained the trust of the Montrealers in no time. The menu being always simple and impeccably fresh, drew the attention of the media and food critics from around the world. NY Post has triumphly started that 'Milos fish could only be fresher if it swam to your plate!'

What was the secret that made Milos stand out? Its focus in finding the purest Mediterranean products and cooking with the freshest ingredients.Through 35 years of intensive research, we have managed to build lasting relationships with growers and small-scale fisheries at the shores of Greece, Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, flying in our fish and seafood daily by plane! Milos has since then taken the world by strom and opened in 1997 in NYC, in 2004 in Athens,in 2010 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and in 2012 in Miami Beach and in 2015 in London!

We invite you to live the Milos experience and celebrate with us our 35th year anniversary!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
