A quick look around tells you the intended audience. Heavy on the corporate or upscale theater crowd, expects expensive and gets it. Big attractive if a bit souless space, very attentive service. Not much in the way of reasonable fare, but you can cobble together a nice meal out of appetizers and some wine and walk away for about $100... More

Another visit here, another wonderful experience: Greek appetizers, like tzatziki, taramosalata, humus, olives, etc., or a variety of seafood based creations, one yummier than the other. Main courses offer some meat and pasta, but the emphasis is, once again, on seafood – delightful, fresh, displayed in the dining area for you to admire and pick. We had the Dorada grilled... More

My husband and I arrived the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival we were prompted to a table and almost ten minutes after, a lady (maybe the restaurant Manager) told us that the kitchen restaurant was closed (14:45, while we arrived a few minutes to 15:00 and we did not know it). The receptionist did not mention it. The... More

Visited with a group of 5 colleagues. Very busy even on a Monday night. Large space with tables close together but an excellent atmosphere. Theme is Greek/ Mediterranean and focus on whole fresh fish and seafood cooked either grilled or salt baked. Selected the fish from a "market" counter with help of knowledgeable staff. Chose a sea bass and a... More

Food was wonderful, service good but $66 for one serving of fish is not great. Beautiful restaurant. However, not sure it was that great.

Four of us met for lunch here today. It is a striking restaurant as it is very modern with a cavernous feel having white walls and VERY high ceilings. There is an area where fish and vegetables are attractively displayed. The service is professional yet warm and there is room between the tables. However, the noise level was very high... More

This restaurant is beautiful but most important the food is Fresh and so delicious. It is an expensive restaurant but totally worth the price. The fish, the octopus, are amazing. The service was also really nice. Highly recommended.

Great Greek restaurant, the waiter explained the menu and also took us to their fish market to show us a selection of fresh fish in case we were interested. We went with a fish from the market and it was great. The fish was big enough for five people. Excellent wine list, great cocktails and also nearby the Midtown Hilton.

From the moment you walk in this restaurant has a great atmosphere. The seafood is the best. The menu extensive. The wines stunning. Friendly, informed waitstaff. This was our favorite restaurant in New York!

It was in 1980, when Chef-Owner Mr. Costas Spiliadis opened the first Estiatorio Milos on Park Avenue, Montreal. The reason seemed obvious to him: the need to elevate the sophistication of Greek cuisine abroad far away from its stereotyped forklorization.

'I wanted to change what people thought about Greek cuisine, make sure it's being appreciated and awarded with its rightful place on an international level!'

As a small restaurant, Milos gained the trust of the Montrealers in no time. The menu being always simple and impeccably fresh, drew the attention of the media and food critics from around the world. NY Post has triumphly started that 'Milos fish could only be fresher if it swam to your plate!'

What was the secret that made Milos stand out? Its focus in finding the purest Mediterranean products and cooking with the freshest ingredients.Through 35 years of intensive research, we have managed to build lasting relationships with growers and small-scale fisheries at the shores of Greece, Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, flying in our fish and seafood daily by plane! Milos has since then taken the world by strom and opened in 1997 in NYC, in 2004 in Athens,in 2010 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and in 2012 in Miami Beach and in 2015 in London!

We invite you to live the Milos experience and celebrate with us our 35th year anniversary!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
