I seldom return to a NYC restaurant. I prefer to continue my search for the perfect meal. Milos, however, is often a return trip. This is the perfect setting for a business lunch. The service is refined and the cuisine impressive. The three course lunch menu offers a variety of options, pleasing to any taste. A la cart is also... More

This place has the best fish in the city! Branzino is the way to go. Pair it with a good wine and you are flying. Everything on the menu is a winner. You can't go wrong! Don't forget to make reservations.

Great in every way. Excellent service and wonderful food. I can't recommend it enough. We went here as a family of five, my wife being a vegetarian, and we all loved it.

Excellent restaurant choice for pre-theatre dinner. This restaurant has it all from the beautiful decor, excellent and authentic Mediterranean style food, to wonderful service. Most of all, the value and quality of the food is stellar. I highly recommend Milos as the restaurant of choice for both pre-theatre and overall quality goodness for a midtown restaurant. As for pre-theatre, make... More

Very nice room, ample variety of fresh seafood on ice in view. Had a 5pm reservation so as to eat before seeing "The Book of Mormon" (great play) at 7. Our group of 4 had the $49.00 pre fixe menu. Food was very good, service was excellent. We finished our desserts in plenty of time to walk to the theater.... More

We were a bit rushed to return to a conference but wanted to have a nice lunch. The waiter said "I'll rush it" and we were amazed to get a wonderful 3-course meal within our time constraints. I had the broiled octopus appetizer (tender, beautifully marinating within a ring of Princess potatoes. The entrée of sea bass was juicy and... More

A place that manages to faithfully reproduce the atmosphere of the restaurants on the shore of the Mediterranean. A fresh tomato with good Greek olive oil for salad. Variety of fresh seafood and surprise of Greek wines of very good quality. Definitely a place for foodies. Best of all: the careful attention of the hosts.

I may have found my favorite restaurant. My girlfriend and I went to Milos for dinner on Friday night. The staff was polite and helpful. Our waiter was from Greece, we recently returned from Santorini and throughly enjoy how pleasant and hospitable Greek people are. We shared the octopus, scallops, grilled lobster and chick peas with spinach. Everything was prepared... More

Outstanding restaurant. The service is great but the food is what you go there for. It is very expensive like most great Greek restaurants in NYC but it really is a phenomenal restaurant.

Description
It was in 1980, when Chef-Owner Mr. Costas Spiliadis opened the first Estiatorio Milos on Park Avenue, Montreal. The reason seemed obvious to him: the need to elevate the sophistication of Greek cuisine abroad far away from its stereotyped forklorization.

'I wanted to change what people thought about Greek cuisine, make sure it's being appreciated and awarded with its rightful place on an international level!'

As a small restaurant, Milos gained the trust of the Montrealers in no time. The menu being always simple and impeccably fresh, drew the attention of the media and food critics from around the world. NY Post has triumphly started that 'Milos fish could only be fresher if it swam to your plate!'

What was the secret that made Milos stand out? Its focus in finding the purest Mediterranean products and cooking with the freshest ingredients.Through 35 years of intensive research, we have managed to build lasting relationships with growers and small-scale fisheries at the shores of Greece, Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, flying in our fish and seafood daily by plane! Milos has since then taken the world by strom and opened in 1997 in NYC, in 2004 in Athens,in 2010 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and in 2012 in Miami Beach and in 2015 in London!

We invite you to live the Milos experience and celebrate with us our 35th year anniversary!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
