This restaurant is convenient for many theatres. Service is fast and efficient. The food was fresh and portion sizes were generous. Prices were fairly reasonable for the Theatre District.

We were advised by someone at the Theatre showing Jersey Boys (before the show) to pop along and book for an after the show meal. We did, and the place was packed, always a good indication of a restaurant. However, whether the place was busy because of some pre-show deal, or whether we were just unlucky, but our experience was... More

The restaurant no longer has a pre theatre menu. Even so my friend and I split an appetizer and then two main courses, had a soft drink and coffee and tea and the bill split with tax and tip was $40 a piece. Wonderful service and you knew the food was fresh.

No drinks menu given - order given straight to the waiter. We wouldn't have ordered drinks had we known the prices first! Very expensive, even for New York! Same goes for coffee & desert. Service wasn't great, very rushed and we felt as if they wanted us in and out. They also got our order wrong due to the rushing.... More

Called in after a show and a long day. Wonderful and friendly staff who were attentive to our needs. Loved the Grappa!! Definitely a place I would go back to and will recommend to my friends back home in Adelaide.

Liked the food and service. Not the surprise of the Bill. Makes it altogether not a good Experience.

Delighted that this restaurant that we have periodically visited for over 20 years continues to delight. Great food. Decent wine list. Went there after the theatre crowd. Not rushed. Their pasta specials are wonderful (did not try their fish specials although they sounded equally wonderful).

We have been visiting Da Tommaso on our visits to NYC for years. They continue to offer outstanding service and tasty meals. This is a must visit when in the city.

We had pre-theater supper here. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly and efficient. If you speak a little Italian (I do) the service is even more excellent. These are old world waiters serving very genuine Italian food. If I had to be critical at all, I would say the dining room is a little dated BUT... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
