Myself and my party went there for a pre theater lunch before our matinee. We ordered from the Special Lunch menu. We opted to add the soup and dessert to the entrée. I had the Filet Mignon Brochette, it was cubed steak with tomatoes and...More

We had three different dinners...short ribs...excellent...duck....terrific and the roast special of the night...also excellent. Mousse is...More

I ate there with my wife and daughter. I had the duck 4 course meal. The duck was one of the most tender, juicy pieces of meat I have ever eaten. It was served with a wine, cherry sauce and polenta. Unbelievable, to say the...More

I was so excited to try this restaurant. My excitement soon switched to disappointment. Although the location is conveniently located in the theater district, that is the only positive I can identify. We arrived after the theatre rush and were pretty much the only people...More

A friendly, very French old-fashioned bistro. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals, great onion soup then flounder for one, sole for the other. Nice choice of two-course or four-course dinners at reasonable prices.

This restaurant has an amazing location right in the heart of the Theatre District. It is small. That is all I can say positively. The food is terrible. Almost no wine list. Hardly an other people in the place at 7:15pm on a busy night.

We stopped again for lunch at Pergola. We had the prix fixe with the soup, main, and dessert. It was all excellent. I really think that this restaurant has the most reasonably priced excellent French cuisine. We had the lobster bisque and the French Onion...More

We seemed to walk into a squabble going on between the wait staff - but it was getting late so we stayed. The menu only offers 2 courses or 3 courses - so you can't just order a main. They didn't have what I ordered...More

Incredibly reasonable for a French Restaurant on Theater Row right next to Les Miserables. I would say dinner for two is between $75 and $90 (before tip) with two glasses of wine, desert, appetizers, coffee and dessert... More

This email has been sent tome accidentally as a reviewer. You need to call the restaurant. I bet they honour the deal. Great place, expect they will do free drinks as Valentine special.

Pergola Des Artistes is a small family-run French restaurant, located in the heart of Times Square and the Theater district. Established in 1963, the decor is still simple and reflects Marie & Jacques' vision of what small French restaurants looked like in their home town of Cominac, in the French Pyrenees. If you're looking for good food at a reasonable price, Pergola des Artistes is for you. If you want haute cuisine, you won't find it here. Many of the recipes were brought over from small villages in France. Today, Christian, Marie and Jacques' son, runs the restaurant. The restaurant has always been a place where tourists, locals and the theater crowd can get a good meal and be out in time for a show.
