Convenient for before or after show dining. I had the Squid Ink Capellini, which is a great mixed seafood and pasta dish. The dark color of the pasta is a bit disconcerting, but I'd definitely order it again.

Visited in my last night in NYC. Great atmosphere. Interesting menu. Our server was awful. No personality. No suggested dishes. Let the others deliver all of our food. Could be so much better. Lobster Mac and cheese was unforgettable.

Packed pre-theater, packed after. But most excellent food. Far enough north to capture some of the upper shows, but not some of the lower ones. Our late Ahi, pork loin, homemade ramen and other made our party very happy. Ambience excellent and the servers were superb. Head there after any upper B'way shows!

Grabbed dinner here prior to most of our large group running out to a variety of theatre productions, an easy walk from this comfortable bistro. Something for everyone on this menu that defies a single theme, from duck breast to oysters, sushi to burgers. The standout was the wine list with Cakebread Chardonnay at just $70 a bottle (usually $100+... More

I was walking looking for a restaurant to eat and on my way I found this quite and comfortable restaurant. The menu is variable but we eat Italian food which it's so tasty and well cooked. My recommendation is spaghetti and margarita pizza, don't miss it.

Went there with my parents to have a dinner. The appearance seemed very nice and the service was excellent. We had high expectations about the food since the menu was so well designed. We took sushi, burrata cheese and tuna tartar as starters and they were alright although we've had better. The main courses were however disappointing. I had mushroom... More

We ate at Thalia after a play and was able to get right in. Good food and great service. Beer could have been colder.

We had a pre-theatre meal at Thalia, and while it was incredibly convenient, we were less than impressed with the experience. First of all, we were a party of three (and had made a reservation the week previously, which seems to be a necessity for a Saturday night), and we were seated at a table in a high-traffic area. The... More

We went for a pre theater lunch. The restaurant was extremely crowded but our server did an excellent job of being attentive to us. Food was good and extremely well priced for that area. Only complaint is it was a little loud. Overall we would return as the location is ideal.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
