Ate our Thanksgiving meal here, as we were staying at The Iroquois. I am sorry to say, it wasn't so great. Prix fix four course....apps were ok. I had a beet carpaccio salad which was fresh and tasty and husband had mushroom in a creamy reduction over brioche toast...only they forgot the toast. Second course of Brussels sprout salad for... In a city of culinary delights, this was a stand out. I met my son here for dinner on a Thursday night. We had a very enjoyable meal and evening. The food, service and drinks were wonderful.

The hostess let us "take over" the small hotel sitting room (where there were two computers and a pot of hot cider) for the evening. The five of us adults plus my six-month-old baby had a wonderful time. The bartender took our orders and poured our drinks in that little room, and my baby had a blast just crawling all... More

We enjoyed two visits to the Triomphe because the service was so poor at the Algonquin next door. Thomas behind the bar was great company and a credit to his profession, also the chef Alphonso prepared probably the best burger I've ever eaten, it was delicious.

We had dinner in hotel restaurant first night in town. Food and service were first rate. Chef came out and talked with us. Menu was very nice and NYC prices.

I usually stay at the connecting hotel but unfortunately did not this time. I at least got carry out from the restaurant and took it back to my hotel. Only took 10 minutes and worth it.

I was here with a work group of 6. We sat in the bar to watch the game which didn't seem to make the staff happy - not sure why. The food, however, was delicious and we ordered a wide range of apps and entrees. It closed early , however , at 11 pm which was surprising for NYC.

Ate here while staying at the Iroquois Hotel. A quite divers meal, from new dishes to old favorites. The oysters from Rhode Island were fabulous - briny and just the slightest bit chewy with a lovely horseradish topping. The beef Wellington was cooked exactly right, with a crispy crust and the beef just the other side of rare. Service was... More

Every morsel of food we had in this restaurant was delicious. Extraordinary salads (!), beautifully presented and delicious entrees (Baramundi with polenta, zucchini and eggplant; a redfish Roulade with farro and zucchini) and desserts (sorbet, profiteroles). The place has character, not pizzazz. Don't tell everyone!

The quiet ambience of Triomph, the restaurant at the Iroquois, was very pleasant and a nice change to the noisy street level activity outside. Really enjoyed the cuisine at dinner! Wait staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
