The quiet ambience of Triomph, the restaurant at the Iroquois, was very pleasant and a nice change to the noisy street level activity outside. Really enjoyed the cuisine at dinner! Wait staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Enjoyed a pleasant late dinner here after a much-delayed flight, chose the place mainly as it was directly next door to my hotel but was fairly pleased by its quiet, peaceful atmosphere (despite being pretty much full); our spot was comfy despite some odd angles going on, and the decor was quiet and pleasing too. The menu was pretty simple... More

We have eaten here a few times and the food and service is always excellent. We highly recommend the "Beef Wellington". It is to die for.

The French bistro cuisine is unpretentious, but with very well executed technique. I really appreciate the linens - many upscale places nowadays would like to convince you that it is "hip" to dine without it, but it's just a poorly masked disgraceful penny pinching. A great place for a business lunch - quiet with no piped in background annoying music,... More

Old and dark restaurant with average service (unfriendly waiter). If you miss the food from the 90s and do not mind paying big bucks for average food, then Triomphe is for you!! Otherwise, go somewhere else. The pictures on their site and the real plates are two very different things. I chose the fish papillotte as a main. I was... More

Dear SgSling, I am sorry to read that you did not enjoy your experience with us. Triomphe's intimate atmosphere is normally one of it's favorite features. We update our menu each quarter, selecting the freshest items from local farms, as well as using ingredients grown on our very own roof top garden. We take great pride to cook using traditional... Nothing innovative, no South American legumes, just good old fashion classic French cuisine. Best beef Wellington I ever had; my wife's fish in a bag also memorable, and wonderful baked Alaska dessert. Considering the quality of the food, it is good value for the money.. But after their meal, I wouldn't want to waddle to a theater, even tho they... More

I have eaten at Triomphe perhaps 5 or 6 times over the years. Triomphe offers that very hard to find combination of outstanding food and actual quiet. Anyone having any interest in eating very well and being able to carry on a conversation without shouting should consider Triomphe. I also appreciated that the markup on the bottle of Domaine Serene... More

We ate brunch here because we were staying at the Iroquois. The food was great, and there was a large variety on the menu to chose from. Service was very nice. Portions were large. If staying here again we will definitely be back.

Everything from the restaurant itself, to the food, staff and chef, were excellent. High quality dining without the pretentious atmosphere allows the diner the chance to relax and just enjoy the food.

Triomphe is an modern take on an old-school French restaurant. It is simple & elegant, perfect for a intimate dinner or a business dinner where you want to impress your guest by taking them somewhere unexpected. I was thrilled to find two of my favorite foods on the menu, pan-seared fois gras & squab, both things that are hard to... More
