can't remember what we ate so it was unremarkable but we both loved the caricatures and it's location . I am not criticising the food but meh! Go again ? Nah

Our family of 4 visited NYC this week. We went to Sardi's for dessert after the play. I recommend the Creme Brûlée. The cheesecake, Raspberry sorbet, and chocolate mousse were also very good. We enjoyed trying to figure out whose caricatures were on the walls. A truly memorable experience.

What a wonderful evening we had at Sardi's this past Friday evening! Our waiter Mark and his Associate Said were great. The food was wonderful and the surprise birthday dessert great. What a wonderful experience before the Broadway show!

We stopped for a bite before Matilda across the street. I had the spinach cannelloni appetizer which was very good. My daughter had the fresh mozzarella with tomatoes and basil, the best I ever tasted. My wife had the club which was good also. Love the atmosphere and location.

I last visited Sardi's in 1970 on my high school senior trip. When my wife and I visited New York City recently, I was anxious to make a return visit. Our schedule didn't permit us to have a meal at Sardi's, so we did the next best thing and had a pre-play drink in the bar. I guess my memories... More

Had an early reservation for dinner to be followed by a Broadway production. The restaurant itself is lovely. My husband had the swordfish and I ordered the sirloin steak with wine reduction, also had the onion soup. The onion soup was very lacking in taste but the steak was excellent as were the garlic mashed potatoes. My husband though the... More

The show we saw was just a block away form the Sardi's so we were excited to try this historical restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't all the great. We were seated right away and busboys were there in seconds however the rest of the service was not very good. The food was great but we only saw our waitress one... More

We were going to Broadway here in New York and we had 30 minutes to find some decent food within a small radius of the theatre. Sardi's offered this perfectly as it was lightning quick and the food though not excellent was definitely not bad.

I have dined here before theater many times before, but not in the past few years. In the past we went here because it was convenient and kitschy and because we loved having cocktails at the 2nd floor bar with old grand dames of theater especially Joyce Randolf (Trixie in "The Honeymooners"). And while the decor has not changed, the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
