We were told to go here after the Broadway play, it was good food and a fun place. If your in New York City, stop by.

So, every time I go to New York I come here after a show. I'll be honest, the food is good, but not great, and incredibly dated. They still serve Baked Alaska and all of the dishes you'd expect if you'd come here after watching The Odd Couple on Broadway in the 60s. Still, it's fascinating just to browse the... More

Sardis is a restaurant off Times Square and Broadway that has an amazing collection of signed caricatures of Broadway stars. The food is excellent with a wide choice and the service is very good too. It's a high-end place to eat so dress smart!

I recently returned to Sardi's for my granddaughter's 13th birthday; I had taken my children there many years ago. The food and service was only average. If you're going there for the caricatures that line the walls, you won't be disappointed!

We choose this restaurant as a pre-musical dinner location. The restaurant is definitely high-end with staff dressed sharply, perfect table setting and a menu which makes it difficult to choose from. The prices are also definitely high-end. The waiter asked if we were seeing a show so they make sure the food is served in time and you are not... More

Starting with the service...scatterbrained. Onion soup was solid in my book, but my father didn't care for it. The Sardi Shrimp tasted like the sauce came from a can...and the shrimp wasn't much better. The caricatures are fun to look at, obviously there's cool history here, but...I'm beginning to realize it's better to stay away from restaurants by Times Square.... More

My wife and I went there for dinner and it well worth it. We were quickly greeted and seated. Our waiter, John, was very nice and served us without problems. We started with the signature Sardi's shrimp appetizer which was really good. My wife enjoyed her salmon dish and I had the penne pasta with hot and sweet sausage that... More

My wife and daughters(ages 13 and 11) dined at Sardi's following the Sunday matinee performance of "The Lion King" on 8/7/16. This was the first time I'd been back to Sardi's since my Father took me there as a young adult in 1983! The quality of food/service and atmosphere was the same after 33 years!!

We thought this would be better - more 'special' somehow - because of its celebrity reputation and history. But it was just okay and fairly average as far as the food. Our canneloni appetizer was tasty but way overpriced for what we got. My husband's pasta entree did not seem to be fresh pasta or homemade, which was surprising and... More

Sardi's lived up to my expectations, food was great, service was very attentive and courteous. The restaurant was clean and surrounded by the drawings of entertainers, would recommend a visit.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
