I came here for s business lunch. The food was fabulous. Try the scallops, very good. The chicken soup was nice. The salmon was good too. The walls are decorated with drawings of celebrities who've dined here.

I have always wanted to go here and finally had the opportunity on a recent holiday trip to New York. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere is old New York. I love the restaurants in the theatre district because they serve quality food but get you out of there in time for your show. Our server was a little... More

The location and atmosphere was great. It was a pain getting a reservation for 8 as they required a form filled up with credit card info etc and faxed over. Should have been a much easier process. Food was good but not spectacular. Wine list could have been much better for a restaurant such as this. I am glad we... More

Server was fun and friendly, food on the other hand was bland and boring, over cooked. Told server our steaks were over cooked," Oh that's to bad", that's what we got! We came along way to experience this Iconic Restaurant, we will never be back!!

Have heard of Sardi's for a long time and finally got to to go there this December. The menu has a decent selection and the food is pretty good, not WOW, but something I enjoyed. I loved the ambiance as it had so much history. I could have stayed there just looking at all the drawings of the famous diners... More

Average food, excellent service, time worn atmosphere. Service was quick and accurate. The food though was just average, but at Manhattan Prices.

You don't necessarily go to Sardi's for the food (really not totally wonderful) - but for the wonderful atmosphere and the service. The servers and the front hosts are wonderful old time people and servers - they know why you are there (to eat in a historical NYC resto - and get to a show) - they accommodate this and... More

Went here after seeing "Oh Hello, on Broadway" and it was the perfect end note for an already very NYC evening. The caricatures of famous people lining the dining areas really makes the place! We were the first to arrive at around 10 ish, and left just bfore midnight and the place was packed. It has a real charm and... More

Sardi's is a solid place to go in NYC when you need to eat prior to a show and want to be close to the theater. It is popular with tourists and is well known. We had two kids with us and we agreed on Italian for dinner. Unfortunately the menu at Sardi's is fairly limited and the only easy... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
