Our 1st night we stopped in for drink and apps. We came back the next next for dinner and food was fantastic. I had the salmon. Good portions and very tasty. Say hi to David at small bar, great server and conversationalist.

Eating here is a real treat if you want great food and to see the people coming and going from the plays on Broadway. You can have a table downstairs or upstairs. The advantage upstairs is the view overlooking 44th street and Broadway. They also have a large bar here which is where we chose to eat. The spinach Cannoli's... More

Stopped by Sardi's for a drink after seeing a show, during the labor day week-end. The bar tender, Thomas Duffy, was amazing. He was welcoming, gracious, and charming and he made great drinks. This was my first time at Sardi's; if the rest of the staff was as great as Thomas was - the service must be exceptional. Great way... More

My friends and I loved the ambiance with the caricatures on the wall. Two of us had fresh orange salmon and the other had the signature cannelloni. All exceptional with the onion soup Augratin. The service was exceptional

From the moment you walk in the door you are transposed, The walls are covered with Al Hirschfeld drawings. If only the old banquets could talk of gossip and deals gone down. I have been here often but my best experience was a lovely private party given by my dear friend Rose Levine Robert Levine a real classy event

We ate here Sunday night. As we walked down the street and I saw it, I had to eat there. It was really classy place. The food was so good. The desserts were wonderful. Yes a bit expensive, but the ambience was worth it, really old school service,

Reasonable everything but nothing great. This place is definitely overrated, certainly overpriced and maybe worth going anyway if you're a theater lover.

This is nice restaurant with very good food. You'll be seated comfortably and surrounded by the caricatures of dozens of celebrities. I highly recommend the crab cakes from the entrée menu!

I was a little disappointed in the ambiance of this classic restaurant. I think part of it was the timing - 7:30. This struck me as a place that becomes lively and fun after 10:00 when the theaters have let out. The food was GREAT; salmon recommended and their beet salad was excellent.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
