We stumbled across this place while walking back to our hotel. We decided to pop in for a drink and loved the atmosphere of the bar. Very laid back, offered great beet and our server was quick and friendly. The bar opens up to the street, which was a cool bonus. We didn't try any food, but i wish we... More

Pub food not at it's best. We had the baby back ribs, which were lacking in flavour and poorly prepared. They were not baby back ribs but just back ribs. They did not look like their advertisement photo. The Cauliflower Soup was not memorable and the Iceberg Wedge was bitter. The Creme Brulee and Apple Crisp were good. The staff... More

In the middle of Times Square there's not a whole lot of choice for decent food compared to other parts of Manhattan. While attending a trade show, nearby, I took a client there for lunch. Was not an impressive type place but it served its purpose for a friendly, relaxing and quiet meeting. A nice break from the show. Pretty... More

If you're looking for a laid-back Scottish pub experience, this is a good place. I enjoyed dinner with a small group of colleagues, and we had a great time. Our server never rushed us, and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. This was my second visit to St. Andrews, I will return again.

I really wanted to like this pub, as I was instantly excited when I saw the word Scotland (one of my favorite countries!). Unfortunately, the food and service caused my excitement to end quickly. They were out of the first two ciders I asked for, and my mother was brought the wrong beer; the server tried to convince her that... More

We found this pub wandering around and decided to pop in for a pint - well we are Scottish. We then decided to have a bit to eat at the seats by the bar. Well, the fish and chips was delicious and the macaroni was great. It was reasonable priced - the Irish barman was very friendly - the bar... More

It was nice to find a place that has such a great selection of Scotch, they also had quite a variety of great food to choose from for lunch or dinner.

We needed a place to breathe after visiting the busy Times Square. St. Andrews is a fantastic Scottish pub. Great service, quiet and a very good selection of Beer, ales and Whiskey.

We needed a quick bite and stopped in. Food was fantastic. Burgers, calamari, and especially the fresh cut fries. Atmosphere was also great. Lots of TV's as well.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
