The service was impeccable, warm, and slightly flirtatious. The 3 of us ordered the Simfonia di Pasta and it was perfect. The staff keep bringing large saucepans of freshly prepared pasta dishes straight from the kitchen and dishing them onto our plates. Every mouthful was freah and delicious.

First let me say the staff was lovely, well trained and efficient. We all ordered the 3 pasta dish, which was fine, nothing really special though. Will not return because of how you are crammed into a space. 4 of us seated at a table most nice restaurants would seat 2. I could have eaten off the plate of the... More

Used to be a favorite NYC dining spot. Pasta deal great value. Prep not as it used to be. Worst is the rude and obnoxious service. We had 6:15 reservations. Offered a table early since place is packed with no place to comfortably wait. When We ordered drinks I told the waiter we were not in a rush. His response... More

I love Lidia and Joe Bastianich, I don't know if this is an Opentable problem or a Becco problem but, when you make your reservation at the earliest possible window online 30 days in advance, and in the special requests section of the booking site, you mention that its 50th birthday celebration, you would hope for a nice table. You... More

What a disappointment. We've been coming for years, but we won't be back. The food has really gone downhill. Ordered the three pasta course, but all three were awful. The meat sauce on the penne was loaded with fat and very tough. And the pasta sauces in general were watered down and flavorless. The food isn't what it used to... More

We had dinner here for the second year in a row on Thanksgiving. While the normal menu is not available on Thanksgiving, which is not to be missed, they still serve their wonderful daily pasta. We love coming here while in town and we always make new friends when we do as the tables are close, just like in Italy,... More

Becco is our favorite restaurant in NYC. Friendly and attentive staff, delicious food (bread, pasta, antipasti) and nice selection of Italian wine. Everything is reasonably priced, especially for New York. Always busy with an upbeat vibe. Nice Tuscan place.

We had decided to do Becco before the show and made reservations for 6:30. Having been there before we knew it should be no issue for an 8-no late seating show. From 6:30-6:55 we were repeatedly told the table would be ready. At 7 we left as we didn't want to feel rushed to eat in 30 min. I was... More

Had a reservation for a table of 8, prior the the November Billy Joel concert. Met our group at the bar, where we had a few drinks prior to dinner. I tremendous pet peeve of mine is when drinks are measured at a bar. This is not he case here and the pours were generous. We were promptly seated at... More

I've been dining here for years and it is always consistent, always delicious, and the service is outstanding ! Especially if you are in NYC and going to a Broadway show - this is the perfect place for your lunch or dinner. The value for the quality is the best you'll find - I can't say enough about it. I... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
