Second time for me with a girlfriend for lunch before Broadway show. Food good. Lunch special for $20 gets you unlimited 3 pastas and a salad. We opted for meals. Friends hanger steak came out undercooked. My lasagna was pretty good. Ate in back area. They pack tables in! People so close to each other. Very uncomfortable. We were right... More

First timers here. As others have said, the $25 trio pasta special and selection of $29 bottles of wine can make this a nice affordable evening. Our table opted for the Antipasto Misto as a starter which included grilled veggies and a small selection of seafood with octopus and crab, similar to ceviche. Dinner selctions included the Pesce Spada -... More

Much better than I expected. The focaccia and bread sticks were too good. Difficult to not keep eating them. And the white bean dip was excellent. I was going to have wine but a glass of high end Barolo was too good to resist. Although packed service was excellent. My wifes calamari, and striped sea was were winners.

My husband and I went here for a pre-theater lunch on the recommendation of a friend. He had the Pasta Special (unlimited helpings of three daily pasta dishes - his were mushroom truffle ravioli, linguini with shrimp and a penne with Marinara sauce.) His lunch also came with a Caesar Salad. All were excellent. I had the Lemon Chicken with... More

Was at Becco in November and again yesterday. Both times were a home run. Service was great, food even better. I enjoyed the pasta special where one of the choices was Orecchiette with cabbage and bacon - Amazing. The desert sampler was a win as well! Will be back again and again.

Decided to head here pre Broadway show after recommendations from friends. Advised it gets a bit cramped so went expecting this and aside from that warning a great evening. Waiters on point and knowledgeable of menu. Wine recommendation went well with the meal. On previous reviews decided to go for entrée choices and not the pasta deal and it was... More

Lovely place for genuine fresh Italian food with excellent service, good atmosphere and reasonable prices. Caesar salad nice and they did a great deal on ant pasta starter and main course, we had two teenagers and as the portions were big got one meal and they delivered on two plates which the kids were more than happy with. Noticed quite... More

Lovely restaurant. Greeted warmly by hostess. Not busy due to holiday. Appetizers and entrees were very good. Service was very efficient but not personable. Only disappointment was they had no stone crabs. It's was in website but not available. This is the season. I would go back. Figure with drinks and tip about $100 a person.

I was here with a large group of 13. We waited about 15 minutes for our table to be ready. Once seated our waiter told us of the specials. The majority of us chose the 3 pasta special. For $25.00 you cant beat it. They also have $29.00 bottles of wine. The wait staff arrived with a great bread basket,... More

Went there and seated upstairs ina very overlit crowded room that was 100 degrees! I ordered the AYCE pasta special and the first plain spaghetti pasta wasn't bad, the tortellini pasta was awful, chewy, and too oily, and the third tasted like a dump of cinnamon on spiral. The Caesar salad was probably the best thing about the meal. Wine... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
