Wow. We had a great dinner so we returned 2 weeks later! I enjoyed fabulous empanadas as well as chicken with fried bananas and cheese. Who would put these ingredients together? It was incredible. The sangria was also amazing. The service was friendly and terrific.

Great experience at a Brazilian restaurant. I saw a few reviews stating the service wasn't great, but we found them to be extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. We started with the empanadas - cheese and spinach/hearts of palm were great, beef not so much, just...More

This is the first higher-end Brazilian ala carte restaurant I've ever been to. We've all been to the Brazilian steak houses that have become quite popular here in the states, as well as Brazil, but this was our first time here and the first time...More

We ordered the Churrasco Misto which was a bit disappointing, especially after the delicious Abacato Recheado (crab meat in a half avocado). It was just 4 thin slices of meat and a bit over-cooked.

My wife loved the coconut shrimp soup. The sausage was my favorite. Manhattan is full of wonderful restaurants and this is one of them.

In the heart of Little Brazil street is the famous Ipanema Restaurant, considered to be the best Brazilian restaurant in all of New York City. Ipanema offers a relaxed and contemporary atmosphere complemented by the authentic cuisine our chef has perfected over the past 30 years. While the name Ipanema refers to the famous beach in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil our menu is firmly rooted in the culinary crossover between both Brazil and Portugal. Ipanema's menu combines the timeless history of Portuguese recipes with the zest and vibrancy of Brazilian cuisine, resulting in a one-of-a-kind dining experience. At Ipanema you can immerse yourself in a true Brazilian-Portuguese experience with famous dishes including: Feijoada, Vatapá, Pão de Queijo, Bacalhau Assado, Bitoque Mariscada, and more.
