We visited at around 10pm on a Friday night and ate inside the restaurant. It was perfect for conversation and sharing—not too loud, not empty. The pizza was terrific, as was the salmon recommendation. Also: the espresso martini + the tiramisu were a great combination....More

I recommend the ‘Spaghetti Del Padrino’ (spaghetti with beetroot) if you are not feeling meat! A nice Italian place in TriBeCa..

Definitely better at Pizzas than pastas. Unfortunately none of us was in the mood for pizza so we all ordered pastas. It was ok, decent, but nothing to write home about. No different than any of the good, decent, hundreds of Italian places in NY....More

I've been eating here since it opened 20+ years ago. Everything I've ever had there has been excellent. Always fresh. Go early, it gets a little too noisy and busy as the evening goes on. Definitely worth it though!

This place is very charming. They have oven for the pizza, so you get it nice and hot. The staff was very polite and nice. We had pasta and peperina salad. Both dishes were tasty with lots of flavors.

Absolutely fantastic place, had all the atmosphere and service of a proper family run Italian restaurant, we could have easily been in Italy. Food was amazing and the whole family loved it, really special evening.

We made reservations for this small Trattoria in tribeca while visiting NYC during Christmas weekend. The restaurant was crowded and festive. Each of the 4 of us loved our meals. The pasta was fresh, and my wife's spicey tomato sauces was delicious with just the...More

Description
Gigino Trattoria opened its doors in August of 1994. The owners, Bob Giraldi and Phil Suarez, along with executive chef Luigi Celentano, have kept Gigino flourishing in the ever-changing Tribeca neighborhood. Chef Celentano creates both the menu and wine list, with daily specials of seasonally fresh seafood, game and vegetables. Gigino prides itself on the fact that all their dishes are prepared to order and almost all their pastas and breads are house-made. Fresh fish specials are featured on the “specials blackboard” daily, and it’s safe to say we also have the best pizza in Tribeca! Dining at Gigino Trattoria is a pleasure every time!
