Came in planning to have an drink then dinner- they were not busy but still slow service and overpriced wine. After looking at menu we decided to go some place else. Had eaten here before- but don't need to return. Too many better choices.

Relaxed dinner at The Odeon - a timeless classic that has not dated or aged. Sunday evening saw the place packed, but service was at a nice pace, atmosphere was great and food lovely - Spicy Chicken Dumplings followed by sweet corn ravioli and a creme brulee to finish. Nice presentation, great taste.

Eat here after the theater. The Odeon hasn't changed in years. Food and service are predictably good. Especially like the cheeseburger and omelettes. they also do a good job with french fries. Also good bar with good drink selections. Old school ambiance.

The decor appears to be retro, but it is the real, original look. My husband and I had French onion soup, which was quite good. Our daughter had an amazing dish, which I would get next time. It was an avocado and egg dish with beans and herbs. Our son had a turkey burger, which he said was really good.... More

This place offers a variety of food with excellent quality and a reasonable price. Located in TriBeCa is also nice and you will enjoy your evening.

I hadn't been back to the Odeon for at least 10 years, I think. It used to be one of the few decent restaurants in the neighborhood, when I first moved to Tribeca. It still has the same classic bistro menu and vibe, but the prices are ridiculous for what you get. And it is loud, as it has always... More

Sat at the bar, enjoyed a wonderful glass of rose. Very nice bartender and decent menu selection. Quite loud, but expected for a normal nyc lunch place.. Will be back :)

We wanted to choose a Brunch location close to the 9/11 memorial, so we went to the Odeon. It was okay....the service was not good at all and the food was decent. Nothing too special! We were sad we wasted a meal here out of all the great places to eat in the city!

We were very excited to try the restaurant because of the Warhol, Basquiat, and early SNL patronage. The food did not disappoint. Excellent Black Kale Caesar Salad, Burger and Fries, and Salmon dish. Very charming modern bistro décor.

Neighborhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
