The original in TriBeCa. Despite the passage of time the Odeon remains a high quality bistro. Good food, nice ambiance, professional service.

The food is still consistently somewhat pricey and good here. While I prefer dinner, weekend brunch is delicious too. But if you do brunch, be prepared for kids everywhere. At least, that was my experience during an April visit. Can't miss with the classic, country frisée salad ($16) with bacon vinaigrette. I also had the warm donuts ($12) and the... More

We saw the Odeon, and decided to check it out We were happy to find seats at the bar, as we were hungry The bar staff was wonderful, had us set up with drinks and a menu very quickly Our food was brought... Met friends for dinner. Tables are so close together. Wait staff average as was the food. Was disappointed. Had heard many good things about the place. Has been there a long time. Prices were way above the quaility. Too many really good places to try in NY. Will not be going back.

We didn't have time to eat but wanted to see the decor inside The Odeon, we had heard that it was still in original condition. The cafetaria was busy but the staff did not mind us sitting at the end of the bar and having a coffee. It was like stepping back in time, even if just for a few... More

Good food quality, a feast for the eyes. Quick, professional and very kind service. Very crowded, very loud, not so good for talking a lot to each other. Almost no niches, most seats are somehow exposed.

This place is a must if you live in TriBeCa or are visiting either lunch or dinner but Friday nights it is a blast the bar is electric and the cocktails are great. The Food is what you would expect of a TriBeCa brassery light appealing and well presented, the service is friendly and very efficient. We love it every... More

The restaurant had empty tables in the middle yet we were squeezed 5 people at a small table. When there was a table for 5 people right beside us. The food was o.k. but the server was not polite.

Busy, but a cut above the average lunch place. Great service, expensive, but more relaxed than a similarly priced, stuffy eatery. Very good food - hard to go wrong here.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
